BRT is not for the poorest! It’s for everyone regardless of social class
Come to TZ you will learn more about BRT project, now we commenced construction of second phase from Kariakoo to Mbagara
Very educative. I worked with the lagos state government in Nigeria for the world bank assisted mile2-ikorodu brt corridor. Kenya can achieve with kess stress.
Girl do your homework. The BRT are not for the poorest! SMDH. It is for the urban and/or city commuters. It is not a class thing!
BRT shouldn't be for the poor, it should be for everyone
Exactly.. I was so pissed off she says for the poor.
1. She saying it's for the poor instead of for efficiency and less pollution since more people use one vehicle hence reduced traffic jam
2. Telling politicians it's a good election promise, leaders should focus on improving lives in general not do a thing or two just to win elections.
Somebody has to explain stuff to this explainer😅
I will tell the govt for free ..our version of BRT will not work. Our existing infrastructure does not support BRT unless it's modified properly. This could just be another case of spending taxpayers money on shallowly thought project which will never take of like our very glorious SGR.
charles mugai white Elephant projects ...and the design she is showing can not work...
Sowl iDea have you seen the 2nd ave subway in nyc? That’s the world’s worst white elephant project after ESA 2nd ave will be the 2nd worst with ESA being the worst boondoggle on earth
They must go for study in Dar es salaam or Toronto Canada
Rwanda,Nigeria & Ethiopia too.
NubianQueen Denmark and France don’t get me started on Australia,New Zealand ,UK
0:44 The poorest? Really
Good work girl
I would suggest citizen to do some videos about Istanbul turkey metro bus its actually one of the best in the world and kenya should do one just like istanbul.
manovin tanaad Kenya should also stack on suburban rail lines and metro on top of BRT
For the the poorest! No way! Smh.. That is not what an organized transport system is built for.
Public transportation is not for “poor” or “ low income “ earners..
Idiot. Public transportation is not for the poor. People in the US leave cars at home to take the bus because it's cheaper and faster.
@@estherkibui3710 relax maybe it was a slip of the tongue, but the truth is majority are.
"Enables the poorest people!" That's harsh language
Motorists will still violate the lane utaona matatu zkipitia kwa iyo lane
The govt should also consider public opinion... By asking what they ought to do and comparing.
She should explain while turned to the screen ;P
if Kenyans have already perceived the BRT to be for the poor, its already doomed. we have a congested Nairobi due to poor planning of infrastructure which cant handle vehicles the keep piling on it. BRT was introduced as an easier and faster way to move masses around a city, but not to move poor people. a lot of middle class people in Europe and japan use the BRT, MRT and light rail system to go to work and stuff since its a convenient way to been traffic jams. Citizen Tv if this how you do your reports you not helping the county of Nairobi but misleading the public. Residents will continue adding automobiles every month on our roads avoiding the BRT due to wanting to uphold a social standing "i don't wan to be affiliated to the BRT its for the poor" as a result of media brainwash.
Already a majority of social classes use this pathetic modes of transport that we currently have, try and report something more encouraging about this system. As a media house you have the means to do proper research on how other countries have managed to have well organised and working systems. That way you can report on how to advise citizens not to be given a raw deal from the government like so many other projects.
Americans ain’t much different lol
BRT is rapid transit period. Japan is mostly rail it’s Europe and Indonesia that’s BRT heavy in fact EU systems are mostly trams and suburban rail
haga dat crew!!
The lady is extremely hot
WIGGY WOMAN
Pervert 🙄
The problem with Kenyan leaders is greed. Some of the design flaws seen on Thika road result from greed & lack of public participation. How do u for instance put a footbridge far from a stage. This has forced pedestrians to naturally avoid the foot bridges. The BRT system should restore the old Kenya Bus routes for efficiency
U must see ur self to jakarta! Its not only for the poorest its for everyone duhh!
Put them on the service lanes, not the middle of the roads
brt has to be in the middle.
1km bike lane per week.....WTH!
I really don't think you should be dropping off and picking up passengers in the middle of the road.
Thats how it is all round the world
You will wait until Jesus come back mje Dar es Salaam muone Magufuli alivyotekeleza BRT system Kenya viongozi wenu wamekalia politics za 2022 na corruption wakati Magufuli hapa ni kazi tu
