I cannot express enough my love and appreciation for Mr. Rogers. I was in his first group of children who watched his new show. His lessons stayed with me always. Respect.
Everyone, we'll, alot of people made fun of him or mocked him. He was really amazing. Very gentle. You couldn't find a person today who loved and believed in childhood and children. They probably wouldn't dream of playing re-runs of his shows today. Too bad. There is a huge gap between generations....what's being stolen can never be restored. Humanity is being played. God Bless.
As an 80's kid, I grew up on his program. Along with the Pinwheel House, Square TV, Sesame Street and Today's special. But before I grew out of my childhood...there was something about him [he was different] so that from time to time I [even as an adult] would check in on him just to see how's he's program is doing; I continue to check up on him until his death. His program was one of a kind that can never be duplicated. Even with Tom Hanks portrayal...it doesn't have that "umph" that Fred gave...
I grew up watching him 2000s kid but this was my favorite shows to watch even though the show was over before I was born my gram still introduced me to this show and I still love the lessons he taught till this day
I love mr rogers he was the best! He was such a sweet considerate good hearted person. He was so caring he did a lot for people ❤he was a giver. He will always be missed greatly he touched so many people and there lives ❤
This was my show. I lovvveeed Mister Rogers. Now my kids get to experience Daniel Tiger neighborhood in make-believe land...with all the life lessons.❤
i found out about mister rogers neighborhood when i was an adult. as far as i remember, from where i live there's nothing like this show, there's not much program for kids that are educational in term of life lesson. it makes me happy that I'm able to found out about him, but i wish i knew about him sooner
I was born the year that Mr Roger's Neighborhood debuted. I watched religiously as a child who was a nerd and watched all the PBS shows, including Sesame Street, Zoom, Electric Company, Nova and PBS news..cooking shows, etc. I wrote Mr Rogers a letter when I was about 7 years old. It was about a concern with handwashing at the Chef Brockett's bakery and also not paying for donuts when he left for the day. 😢😅
in Pittsburgh at the confluence of the two rivers that become the Ohio River. there's a life-size bronze statue of him. right across the street from the Steelers stadium.
I remember growing up and watching some news, that said Mr Rodgers was a special forces sniper green barret. Who had 300 kills, three tours in Vietnam, metals of Valor, purple hearts. I didn't find out until he died that it was fake news.
I watched him when I was little and so did my kids. He was a badass Marine too. When older I watched Eddie Murphy's Mr Robinson's Neighborhood on SNL- "Hello boys and girls! Can you say Herpes? That's the gift that keeps on giving. Now it's time to put Mr gerbil in the microwave. Ten seconds will do it and pop goes the weasel".
His Wikipedia bio flat-out states "Despite rumors to the contrary, he never served in the military"...in fact, a scene from A Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood lampshades this urban legend (the only MRN cast member with any military experience was longtime music director Johnny Costa, who served during WWII).
Yes! I WILL be your neighbor, Mr. Roger's! 🫡 🎶 Here comes thumbkin. Here comes thumbkin. 🎶 Sued Ice Cube, eh? That's kinda "gangsta" itself. R.I.P. Kind Sir. 🕊
You don’t even know that though. Tom Hanks is a Good & Great Guy of a Real Life Living Legend who deserves better being the Voice Actor of Woody from all 4 “Toy Story” Movies.
Throughout the years growing up I would hear people say from time to time that he was a Navy Seal. More than likely just a rumor has if he had any military service I'm pretty sure your video would have covered it.
Hey ... rumors said Mr Rodgers was a sniper in Vietnam, and his arms are covered with tattoos, and that's the reason why he never took off his sweater.
@richardchampion4166 He actually showed his bare arms a few times (largely in clips of him swimming, Mr. Rogers' preferred exercise method)...wasn't a single tat on them.
I cannot express enough my love and appreciation for Mr. Rogers. I was in his first group of children who watched his new show. His lessons stayed with me always. Respect.

Amazing afternoon tv memories
I’m 37 years old and I still want to live in mr Rodger’s neighbourhood

It’s a beautiful day. What a beautiful soul.
I remember his show in the 90s. Used to watch it every day.
That's why I hold to so many values in my life
👍👍👍🙏🙏🙏
he was the staple of my childhood
Fun fact, he also drove an ice cream van in his free time
Of course he did. That is the least surprising thing I have ever heard
He was a wonderful person
One of the best!
His namesake museum is located on the grounds of Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, Pa. Worth the visit, so get up and GO.
A great man and humanitarian.

I always love watching Mr. Rogers. I loved his coat collections
I loved Mr. Rogers

Rip
Can you imagine if they decided to remake MR Rodgers
You failed to mention his military career
Never served
Agree
His Wikipedia bio flat-out states "Despite rumors to the contrary, he never served in the military"...in fact, a scene from A Beautiful Day In the Neighborhood lampshades this urban legend (the only MRN cast member with any military experience was longtime music director Johnny Costa, who served during WWII).

Tom Hanks is nothing like his wonderful moral cousin, Mr Rogers. Too bad he never actually knew him or learned anything from him.
👊🙏
You don’t even know that though. Tom Hanks is a Good & Great Guy of a Real Life Living Legend who deserves better being the Voice Actor of Woody from all 4 “Toy Story” Movies.
Sixth cousin, not first cousin. Who cares, not even Mr. Roger’s youngest son lived up to his own dad’s image. Mr. Roger’s was a legend 😅
Tom Hanks don’t have the gentleness and kindness vibe in Mr. Rogers.
Ain’t no way he flipped us off
Fred mentions his favorite daily lunch in a documentary.
I've stopped eating that since hearing he died from stomach cancer.
I haven't seen the documentary, what was his favorite daily lunch?
❤
♥️♥️♥️🙏🙏🙏☺️☺️☺️😌😌😌
Throughout the years growing up I would hear people say from time to time that he was a Navy Seal. More than likely just a rumor has if he had any military service I'm pretty sure your video would have covered it.
I heard rumors he had military service but he did not. He failed the physical for the army. Probably due to his asthma.
He passed away the day I was born 🥺🥺
I fear not the judgement of god, but the disappointment of Mr. Rodgers.
❄ cube is gangster and he is in 👴 🎭 🚘
And his son had one of the largest pornography collections in the world (he was a psychologist & it was part of his studies)
🙏🤓❤️
Mister Rogers so gansta he sued Ice cube lolol
🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘🤘💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪
I'm just going to point out the fact that he greatly resembles the president of Turkmenistan's president.
He sued Ice Cube????, Mr.Rogers was a gangster😂😂😂😂
Hell yeah he was! 👊👊
Hey ... rumors said Mr Rodgers was a sniper in Vietnam, and his arms are covered with tattoos, and that's the reason why he never took off his sweater.
@richardchampion4166 He actually showed his bare arms a few times (largely in clips of him swimming, Mr. Rogers' preferred exercise method)...wasn't a single tat on them.
and no he was never in Vietnam
That was Captain Kangaroo that served in nom.
Did you watch his show?
Yes I did. What about you?
*How many times has he read the "Turner Diaries"*
You didn’t mention his service in war?
He was never in the armed forces. He couldn't pass the physical.
It was "the" !!!!! Wtf I'm trippppingggg
Never heard of him?
Too bad, he died before I was born
This ain't no Mr. Rogers neighborhood!
Hell yeah gangsta!
What about his military service
He never served in the military. He couldn't pass the physical, probably because of the asthma. Google it.
Tom hanks?
I GREAT AND HONEST MAN
Yea. Latrobe.
Yep every time my mom wanted me to take a nap she put on this crap. 💤🥱
