Great overview bro !!! Love how they mapped this omnibus out ! DC killed it with this one ! Can’t wait for my copy ! Super hyped !
Thanks! Yeah I'm really happy with mapping and design in general, definitely a great book!

Thanks for watching, hope you get yours soon!
Woww incredible content in this omnibus
Thnx for the video overview btw and keep up
Thanks for watching!
Another awesome overview! You're killing it with these videos, keep up the amazing work. I'm going to pick up Vol 1 & 2 after seeing the videos. I appreciate all the good content you're putting out, my wife and my wallet however, not so much.
Thank you! But my apologies to your wife and wallet 😅
Even though I have a lot of these issues by themselves, that omnibus looks really nice and I have the urge to purchase. Jason Fabok's artwork is definitely one of the main attractions. Remarkable that he was essentially trained by David Finch directly when trying to break in, but I think at this point he's probably surpassed his mentor.
Oh it's a beautiful book! And I agree, I much prefer Fabok's art to Finch's...I like Finch but his art can be a bit hit or miss for me, some stuff will look great and other stuff pretty questionable
totally agree with practically everything in this review, i love the much maligned New 52 and thought most of it was incredible!!, and yes, Fabok is one of the best artists out there!!, keep up the great work
This looks awesome! The first volume was hit or miss to me (I actually thought it lost steam after the Shazam story, which I think is easily the best thing in the book), especially with the bloated and dumb Trinity War story, but I will be picking this up. Definitely agree on Fabok's art and the Wonder Woman depiction-it's a shame that we don't get that quality from the Big 2 on a consistent basis anymore.
Yeah the Shazam story is great, and I don't mind Trinity War really but it is a bit convoluted. I think the New 52 era in general saw a lot of great artists working at DC, Fabok amongst them of course, and that's one of the things I really loved about it!
@@TheComicBookTrove Agreed on the artwork, most of the greats from that era seem to just be doing covers or random one offs now (has Fabok done anything since Three Jokers?)...my main problem with Trinity War was how long and convoluted it was for what was a pretty simple plot which only seemed to exist to facilitate the introduction of the Crime Syndicate. It's almost as long as Watchmen lol also the tie-in issues are pretty lame imo
I was thinking about reading the new 52 justice league and maybe the scott snyder run of batman. I was wondering is the new 52 still canon? If so would these be good stories to start with?
I think both New 52 Batman and Justice League are good starting points. Both series are still canon in the sense that they happened, it's just that as of the end of the New 52 era some things were changed up going into Rebirth. But they're great self-contained reads with very little to no prior reading required to enjoy them
@@TheComicBookTrove thanks I appreciate it, definitely gonna give it a read.
If you don’t mind, who did you order it with? I’m guessing your in 🇬🇧
I ordered from Forbidden Planet
@@TheComicBookTrove ahhh me too, so fingers crossed!!! Great review as usual matey, great stuff
@@TheCheekymunkee Thanks! Yeah hopefully you get your copy soon!
Is vol 1 out of print?
I think it might be, or at least out of stock in a lot of places at the moment
It’ll be back in stock this upcoming December !
Cool, thanks for confirming!
