Jam with Milan: Topaz // "Live" Eurorack collaboration

I've been lucky to collaborate with / @milan-murratti a number of times now - this is our third such project. It's an interesting artistic challenge to work on a "live" Eurorack project with someone on the other side of the planet. Our approach has been to record our parts live individually, send our recordings to each other, and then to jam live on top of each other's recordings. This time, I recorded a jam which I sent to Milan, who then recorded his part over the top.
My Part:
To start things off, I sampled a sequence of notes from the track Topaz by the koto player Michiyo Yagi (here is a link to that track: • TOPAZ - Michiyo Yagi . I then tuned my oscillator to these notes and set up a looping sequence over them, using the Sequins app in Ornament & Crime. I filtered the sampled notes to keep mostly the higher frequencies (to highlight the scraping sound of the strings alongside my new sequence). I also added another melodic part, going through MFX to add a little wobble, and also added drum sounds from Akemie's Taiko and some samples I collected around my house, which I triggered on Squid Salmple.
Milan's Part:
"The drone sound comes from the Music easel 208c. The swelling of the attack with an abrupt stop of the decay was conjured up by the nightsky. Then there are a few sample voices from morphagene through the qpas and a few short little noises from jmt synth ld 2 and xpo with the night rider."

Marvellous collab from you too ! I'll have to go and dig in your achives now because I don't quite remember the last one you guys did... I discovered both Muratti's and your work at just about the same time and I recall being struck by a certain similarity of sensibilities, especially as regards beautifully subtle and intricate textures!
