Hahaha, thank you. I did this back in the beginning when my parents refused to be in my videos. After they started watching, they realized how successful this channel is going to be, and they started showing up in a lot of my videos, and they enjoyed it. They also help in video topics as well. This week, there is a bunch of cooking videos ill be doing with mom. They were away the last couple weeks visiting my sister and there was a couple recipes I wanted to record but mom don't have a written recipe, it goes something like this, a little of this and a little of that with a little sprinkle of this. So I told her she will have to be here so I would know exactly how much to use. Mom goes by texture, taste, and appearance and rarely a written recipe. Moms old school when it comes to old-fashioned meals. Our plan is to do a video about fish cakes, scalloped potatoes, deep-fried cod fish with moms special batter, and a couple more videos. I hope you come back to see these videos as well.

Always enjoy the fight of a mackerel, and the taste. Awesome cook and catch , You're a striking image of your mother. Skin down I agree with that too. I thought it was 7 3/4 minutes though lol.

Best to bleed mackerel and put it on ice ASAP after catching. Makes a world of difference with meat quality ! Try it next time 🎣

Filet, brine or marinade, cook over charcoal, use thick, sweet soy or similar for final baste. Good with rice.

Hahaha, they are home now. I was going to make scalloped potatoes but when I asked her how she makes it there was to much of, a sprinkle of this and a little of that so we will make it together in the next week or so. I'll do a video, plus we're going to do a fish cake video too.
