Erin, I think this will be super helpful to many. The different body types, lifestyles and maybe even ages ... 40’s, 50’s, 60’s! Great content and concept. It really shows how hard you work at providing what you feel will be helpful to your viewers. A+!
This is so much fun! As an inverted triangle, I do appreciate shoulder problems. Thanks to Busbee Style, I now buy to fit my shoulders for tops and waist for bottoms and get most things tailored. It’s really worth the bother.
I love this format! Am watching it right now! I would love a mix of this...you are such a strong teacher, giving us your expertise...YOU look so sharp in all of your examples yet I personally feel your intent is helping me be the best me...and I appreciate your lists you include for alternative values and choices...I am 61 years old, size 14 , broad shoulders ,very self-conscious about my appearance...yet really enjoy current fashion!
This was so much fun to watch! You left her with a plan to elevate her style, gave her points specific to body type, and put together three style uniforms that look great on Wendy. LOVE THIS! Well done ladies!! 💯👏🏻 look forward to more 🙋🏼♀️
Hi Erin- I love that you were able to make suggestions from Wendi’s existing pieces to match her lifestyle and figure. I know I get in a rut and wear the same things styled the same way over and over, leaving at least half of what’s in my closet unworn. As usual, you are right on with your ideas! Much ❤️
Brave Wendi! I related in several instances. I love the concept of seeing through Erin's eyes. Seeing and hearing suggestions with direct feedback from another person is a lesson. Wonderful concept Erin.
I really liked this. You definitely know your styling. You were supportive and knew how to kindly say "that just doesn't work for you". I think this was a great way to help people look at their own closet and style and build their outfits. Thank you.
What a great & fun idea! This is like interactive What Not to Wear (but what TO wear with Erin.) So very cool that you start with current personal style & pieces she already owns & move onto needs & assignment. LOVE ! 😍
Also, I noticed this didn't show up in my feed until a week later than it was posted & has less views than some of your other videos. Not sure what happened but just an FYI that some subscribers might not be seeing this?
It also made me think of the show, What Not to Wear, which I loved. Such a great idea, haven't seen any videos like this on you tube. I would love to see this type of video on a regular basis. Great job Erin😘
I loved this video more so cause that’s my body type and you were very helpful. I think videos like these can help lots of ppl because it’s real life women and their wardrobes so it makes one feel that anyone can do this not only stylist but of course with your help. Thanks loved it.
This was fun to watch and interesting to see her “fall in love” with some pieces she already had! I would really like to see more of this type of video. Thank you Erin! Kat
Great idea for a video! I think your comment to Wendi about going to a tailor is spot-on because I myself also have broad shoulders and similar issues with things off the rack being sloppy at the waist if they fit at the shoulders. Tailoring is the key for sure! On the other hand, personally I like my broad shoulders and like to wear puffed sleeves or padded shoulders, but only with a defined waist (my waist itself is more defined anyway), so I don't think it's a given that everyone with broad shoulders wants to minimise them.
Loved this. I would even be interested in seeing several videos of women with the same body type with you making suggestions from their wardrobe as you did in this one. Even though I do not have an athletic body type, it helped me think of what I might be able to put together from my existing wardrobe to elevate my style.
Great concept! I think it works and I like your calm approach. As a petite with narrow shoulders, I think women with broader shoulders look better in most styles, particularly in soft shirts and strapless tops.
Good morning Erin, loving this new format. Definitely seems like a real world examples for everyone to follow. Thanks for keeping it concise and easy to follow. You’re doing a great job for all your subscribers keep up the great work.
Thanks for this! I relate to the plight of broad shoulders and rectangle body so much! I have the added complexity that I am also very short - just 5 feet!
LOVE this format and enjoyed this video so much! Wendi is SO lucky to have Erin style her - what a treat - but she is also brave for putting herself out there in front of everyone. Even though she is a different body type from mine, I still found the video helpful. The process that Erin walked her through and the overall concepts are relevant and beneficial. Would certainly enjoy more videos like this! Thanks Erin and Wendi. Very nice way to start the day!
Great idea Erin. Brings my own wardrobe to mind as you style Wendi. I can visualize my pieces on Wendi. Also, what didn't work on Wendi made me think of similar items hanging on in my closet! I have changed my look and stepped it up because I found you. You are wonderful Erin. Thank you.
Very nice video!! As a stylist I think this is an awesome way to help people with their style because they just use their ownclothes and get advice what and why to wear it !
Wow this format was so cool! I love that she had all of her pieces laid out in front of you, and you just suggested the pairings. If you ever need more volunteers, I would love to be “Busbee-ized”! I’m curvy, tall and have tons of pieces I love but I don’t necessarily know how to pull pieces together to make a complete outfit that flatters my body. You are amazing and so helpful, thank you for continuing to explore ways to share your expertise with the everyday woman❤️
Loved this format and video, so many helpful tips even if not the same body type and loved that she shopped her closet!! I think most of us dress in jeans/slacks and some sort of t-shirt day to day and this helped to elevate that! Thank you!! More please :)
Thank you for this style of video. Very helpful! Please, please do more of these!! I like it when you used what she had and the tips were very valuable. I know this must have taken lots of time so thank you again!!
I'm a little late watching this video, don't know how I missed it. Better late than never, I love this idea please make it into a series. It's nice that you kicked this off with my body type, it's 100% relatable. When I was younger I seemed to have more waist definition which is not the case now. I can't wait for ruffled and puffed shoulders and sleeves to go out of style. I try to make them work for me and they just don't. Good job, more please!
Oh yeah this was fun. Video quality was great, barely noticed any lag. I really wanted to tell her to try more V neck tops to help draw attention to the middle of body and away from broad shoulders; and try long simple necklaces. But overall this was a great video!
Thank you for addressing broad shoulders. Another tip - wear v neck tees or button shirts. Showing a little skin at neck area breaks up the shoulder to shoulder expanse.
This was a fantastic first remote styling. I thought your suggestions were spot on and easily achievable. After she solves the blazer/coat issue I think she should play up her long legs more (I have long leg envy); and I'd like to see her in one of your signature looks: high waist wide leg pants or jeans with a tucked in top -- it's just killer! I look forward to more of these types of videos.
Loved this format and found it extremely helpful. I'm the same body type with the same style. Loved seeing her selections and how you worked them to elevate. Please keep it up!!
AWESOME VIDEO! This is a spectacular idea! I can't wait to see your next one! I know this is going to be very helpful for so many women! It's like getting to be your personal style client! Who wouldn't love that!
Thanks for this..I have a rectangular shape too and I’m always uncomfortable with not having a waistline. I’m changing the way I’m thinking about my body type and styling now.
LOVED this video, so unique, haven't seen anything like this on you tube. I could watch style videos all day, so fun and learn a lot. Also liked that she worked with what she already had and you just suggested a few new pieces to add. This was a great concept and you did such a great job, I would love to see these kind if videos on a regular basis😘
This was really fun to watch... I want to add my own suggestion on the first outfit. I think that you might add more height by wearing a deep v neck t shirt instead of the one you wore (-a tip Erin spoke about in another vid. ) . And/ or wear one that you can "half tuck" to add to the elongation illusion. Side note:I was at Macy's yesterday and found a Tommy Hilfiger white Blazer with blue piping it was so adorable with jeans ( it was made out of a casual material so it didn't look too officey) . I'm a pretty casual dresser as well but like to add a long pendant necklace with outfits that I top with a solid color tank or t- shirt, it adds a little Moxie without looking like trying too hard- Like my Betsy Johnson fox , it's fun and I get comments all the time on it.
Good Morning Erin! What a fabulous idea❤️ I love the constant evolution of your channel. This is such a fun concept. It kinda reminds me of the show What Not to Wear... without any of the negative attitudes.
Loved this new video format. It helps to see real women find flattering clothes for their bodies..I have a problem figuring out my type. I am pretty rectangular except That I have a large bust and small shoulders . I have a no waist to speak of. Jeans are a real problem for me..
This was great! I would love for you to style me virtually. I’m 41 and transitioning to a more age appropriate wardrobe. Something like this would be really helpful to me in revamping my closet. Your tips are all do thoughtful and practical.
How ever did I miss this? I am subscribed to your content and didn't get notified! Arrrgh. This is a fabulous example of your valuable expertise at work! I am going to do a crash course of tech savviness so I can volunteer! What's not to love about Wendi? She just exudes happy doesn't she? Such a beauty! (an no you aren't aging Wendi). I must admit... I am a wee bit curious in her shopping results. Would love an update. Thanks again Erin for a great example of Busbee Style consult in action. Well done you! XO
This is fabulous! Special thanks to Wendi! I have a similar body type, so lucky me to benefit as well😊 The shoulder issue is real- Erin, how much should we expect to spend on getting a blazer tailored? Maybe a whole video on common tailoring you recommend and average cost? Really loved this, thanks! (Wait, PS when you've done several, maybe a video with photos/video snip follow-ups from each if they did one of the style assignments?)
This format was great. I would love to see some with the more mature ladies. Say, 50, 60’s. And with dresses/skirts. I have a hard time wearing dress clothes when I’m not Always able to wear heels? Anyway, hopefully you will get my point. Thanks so much!
I love this brilliant concept Erin! I just wish I was tech savvy. It would be so helpful if you could show pictures of looks that she would suggest for her to put on her shopping list. 😘
This was so fun and interesting - I loved it!! I so appreciate you sharing your professional experience here on UA-cam. Looking forward to more videos in this format 🙂👏🏻👏🏻
Hi Erin! So good! I always dress to look bigger, which I know is unusual. I lost weight after years of caregiving and cannot seem to get it back. I try to do layers, but I bet you'd have a great angle on things. xo Diane
Awesome video that’s exactly what I wanted to see!! please do more videos like this one. Thank you!! I have her body type and my problem is finding blazers that fit well. 😅
Love This! I'm tech savvy enough if zoom works for these :) 55, 5'5" 135 lbs, likely an hour glass , augmentation (aa) 8 yrs ago and still trying to figure out how to dress the girls. Single. Fledgling Health and wellness coach and looking for employment to pay the mortgage (office Assistant / office admin) I am a photographer so I can do the white backdrop and stand :). Looking forward to more of these!

LOVE LOVE LOVE this format/idea!! Real people with their real clothes is so helpful and informative!! Super great idea and please keep doing!!!
This is so much fun! As an inverted triangle, I do appreciate shoulder problems. Thanks to Busbee Style, I now buy to fit my shoulders for tops and waist for bottoms and get most things tailored. It’s really worth the bother.
Great video! Would you consider doing a follow-up to show the pieces she added from her “homework assignment”?
I love this video as a regular way to show people how to think outside the box in regard to how to put things together from their own wardrobe!

This format was a huge success! It showcased Erin’s huge knowledge base about styling! Brilliant!

Erin,
Thought this was Great! I think it's a Great help to a lot of us just needing the guidelines for certain body types. Thanks

Crazy because now I need to want to watch your videos again!
Broad shoulders here appreciates this.
Thank you, Krissy! xo
I lived in Bloomington, Indiana when I went to Indiana University! Love this video! I learned to add a third layers. That will up my style! 😊
Loved, Loved, Loved this consultation. I too have an issue with broader shoulders and creating a waist. This was extremely helpful. Thank you both!

Very wrll done Erin! This is one of my favourites so far... congratulations ✅💃🏻
Love this. So helpful. More pleeeeease !
What a great idea! You did a wonderful job.
Excellent tutorial. You provided some very helpful suggestions, ones that fit her particular style.
This is fun,,,,could we get a follow-up once she’s done her homework shopping?
Thought this format was great, Good job! I think adding specific details in the video title would help, such as the personal style and body type. “Remote Styling - The square body, casual, edgy style “ or something like that.
Love this format, Erin! More please. 😊
I loved this! Please do more of these!
This was super! Please do more.
Love this series!!!!
I enjoyed the format, Erin!
Love this video Erin! I think the hardest part I have is how to mix and match different pieces. ❤😊
I think remote styling with individuals is the way to go. I just got a Hair Consultation from an awesome hair stylist in Austin. I am in DFW area.
