You just saved my life. Thank you so much, so many UA-camrs these days follow the same basic/bland tutorials. Stuff like this is so much more useful. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Hi glad it helps. Thanks for input too, yes I think its helpful to find small things not covered in the run of the mill tutorial subjects, that's helpful gives me ideas for future videos!
Thanks for taking the time to show how to fix or apply a smooth transition to an object that has a Path Constraint. This is so annoying that this isn't a default setting. Thankfully you shared this and now my animation has the smooth in and out like it should.
Cheers! I recall having some other thing not allow curves like this too (can’t remember now). I’m going to give this a try on those as well if they pop back up.
Thanks a lot. I just had the same issue and feared already i would have to add many keypoints to create a slowing down curve manually. In my case however it was not a camera but a train following the path of a spline/tracks and it had to slow down at the train station. Now it works very smooth. Is there any explanation/reason why the bezier float isn't the default controller?
@@jamesabell9494 hey! but now i have another one :D ...so when i click asign controller ...and then pick bezier ... the curve dissapear ..which is really strange..i do everything like you but when on your screen the curve goes smooth ..on my screen it just dissapears :/
This was driving me crazy for hours....Thanks

Still useful in 2023,looks like autodesk is not gonna fix this at all.
Glad this is still useful :)
Worked like a charm! Thank you! How hard would it be for this to happen automatically when choosing a bezier tangent type, Autodesk?! 😤
😅
