  • When we meditate for ourselves, we're meditating for our kids, too. When we sit consistently, we embody our light more clearly, which enables our children to have an example of light, and a lens through which to see. This 18-minute meditation by Elena Brower offers us an opportunity to find balance and nourishment, so that we may nourish and teach our children from a steady and abundant place.

    I'm just wondering what this has to do with "Conscious Parenting". I mean, you could claim that all meditation helps you become a more conscious, calm parent, but this one actually claims to be for that and yet has nothing to do with it. It would be better titled, "Alternate Nostril Breathing Meditation".

    Idk why this happened but I tried this meditation. I left out the nostril breathing portion.
    I was very upset thinking of my failure as a parent and feeling bad about it.
    I think I fell asleep during this. I was laying down. I had a dream that I was speaking with a woman. Almost in the form of a therapy session.
    This woman was laying down with a blue blanket wrapped tightly around her whole body and face. It had a distinctive pattern on it. One of which was one eye. I looked at this as I spoke.
    She was very understanding and I felt very heard. When I woke up I felt better. Calmer.
    I do on some level feel that I was channeling my mothers energy because she struggles with parenting. I was journaling before this and thinking of talking to my therapist about my concerns.
    In the dream I could not see the woman as she was covered but the fact that I only saw a single eye made me think of the third eye.
    This stuff happens to me all the time but this was very interesting.

    Where is the message about conscious parenting? I had 15 minutes to spare abd I love Elena Brower but I feel my time had been wasted.

    Do not do this meditation with a cold. Alternate nostril breathing is difficult

    I do not call this a meditation it was some relaxing music which was very annoying!

    I can't breath through my left nostril properly and it's also a bit difficult through my right

    I don’t like the music it’s so annoying
