I feel that if there was actually a strong battlefield game right now (like bf3 or 4) this game wouldn’t really even register with many franchise players. It’s definitely a cheaper knock off and the only reason it has so much attention is because DICE hasn’t been able to make a good game for the past 8 years

I'm not having a good time at all with this game, I don't know if it's my internet or computer, but the game feels incredibly frustrating. Everything is clunky: changing weapon, using abilities, driving, and piloting. I don't know why I need to "load map" every time I spawn. Horrible vehicle implantation and infantry/vehicles gameplay. I started receiving demage a solid second before I saw the enemy. Specialists are still annoying here, but this is nothing new. I thought that this was because I was burned out by FPS games. But I played both BF1 and BF4 recently, and both games still incredible.
For me, vehicles are as important a part of this type of game as gunplay. I played a few hours today and tested all possible vehicles and it's really terrible. Helicopter flying physics is the worst I've ever seen in a game. Combat balance between them is also very bad. As a AA tank I couldn't solo kill attack heli. It just flew straight towards me and just had more damage than my main gun. I also couldn't look up enough, which was also a problem. Moving in a tank is also not pleasant and most often you don't even know where they are shooting at you from. The lack of destruction is also a problem. Only selected walls in buildings can be destroyed and the rest of the map is indestructible. Unfortunately for me, Delta Force is not even close to Battlefield 2042, let alone Battlefield 3 and 4. Big disappointment...
Seems like a cheap version of 2042 tbh. Movement is far worse.. I absolutely hate the BF4 style head glitching and the vehicle gameplay (especially in helicopters) is abysmal and you can have incredibly cringe skins, already in the game. All the people that have been HATING on 2042 for 3 years, but suddenly love this game which contains everything they hate about 2042 are to be completely disregarded.This game is not a replacement for 2042 until BF2025 comes out.

You're going to see all the big streamers glazing this game for the first ~2 months of release because theyre paid to do so. I think I'll wait until the full release. I played the absolute heck out of the Alpha, and it feels like little to nothing has been changed since then. As fun as it is (which is a lot, I really enjoyed it), waiting for the full release means that my progression will be saved instead of deleted as it will be from the demos.
It did feel clunky , the movement really needs smoothing out im not sure if its character animation or if its just latency issues , the head glitching is something that seriously needs sorting as its a game that's very tactical . The other thing is the gun customisation , im all for customisation but this feels a bit overkill
Played a few hours today, and to me it feels like BF2042 from Wish... i've played about 800hrs of 2042 and everything about that game is better then this. I hope they update it a lot until full release or else it will flop.
literally half the bots have aimbot and esp and it makes it impossible to make plays when they know where you are and kill you instantly and are better than real players its not fun

Just uninstalled. I was in the closed test too, and I won't come back until they clearly display if the opponent that just totally aim botted or wall hacked you is a real player or AI. It is SO infuriating and sucking all the fun out of the game. Also, spawns are terrible (as they were in the closed test too) and not fixing small stuff like that for the open test is just strange....
So you can’t get away with egregious head glitches. Your bullets hit the cover instead, they implemented exactly this in BF4 after it became a problem.

Havoc Warfare just feels an even more shallow BF style experience that partially tries to look at MW Reboot Ground War & BF2042. The movement is good, gunplay feels good, visual style is readable while being nice to look at and leaning back in a mainstream shooter but the vehicles don't feel good, squad & team mechanics are non-existent outside of gadgets and the maps are open but very smol with the few vehicles once one team's has lost (the big irony, overall less vehicles on the map relative to player size = said vehicles just dominate infantry). Feels like Havoc Warfare is tacked on, sure less so than MW Reboot Ground War but still feels it was added in after work was done with the Extraction Mode which I do like a lot. Feels like it has a big identity crisis like 2042 still has by just focusing on the "chaos" than the actual gameplay being tightely and coherently designed. I have a much bigger hope with Wardogs by Bulkhead which the Director says seems going in a more "realistic" direction from his stream on Twitch a few days ago with PUBG comparison for what it's worth (though the game is 100 players split into 3 teams with "King of the Hill"). Focus on making large scale warfare work before on "FUN" and "CHAOS" which just degenerates into point slop.
The settings for Tactical and Gadgets wasn't very intuitive and when you change operators, the Gadget and Tactical don't persist over. You have to redo your buttons all over again.

Its it more polished yes, but 2042 was rushed because of all the ppl whining for 2 years about bfv having a girl on the cover when it was a pretty good game and getting better and better. a game worked on for 4 years should be more polished than a game that was a battle royale that got transformed into a regular bf game over 18 months.

They are clearly a mobile developer, which is obvious from the UI as you say - too much clicking for 2-3 different currencies for leveling up....

And I'm guessing since they haven't changed anything in the game yet, the "alpha" and "demo" and "full release" are probably going to be damn near the same thing, since the game is already released in Asia or whatever.

I just started playing and I feel so boxed in when playing havoc warfare. Its literally head glitch city with no verticality. Almost the exact opposite of 2042 maps, they're too open. But combined wirh crazy visual recoil, tons of bots, I feel like I can't move around the map. All the angles I kill people feel cheap as hell and one sided. Feels like there's no gun fights
Attachments need to make enough of a difference that allows you to make 2 builds for each weapon. e.g. Close quarters build vs a mid to long range build. 90% of the attachments become pointless once you figure out the meta builds. Agrree that AI will end up being a deal breaker if they don't remove or adjust them in Havoc Warfare.

Havoc Warfare was the mode that initially drew me into this game. I really want to like it, but it isnt good. I'm not even going to bother with it anymore and just play the extraction mode.
Better than 2042 but not as good as the older bf games. The headglitching is annoying af I agree on that one. Anyways it's "beta" and free so at least there's some new fps game before the next Battlefield comes out.
Haven’t played with keyboard and mouse in years, quake arena is the last one I remember playing with it. Tried this today and I’m horrible, only thing I could do was snipe, because my movement is awful. I probably looked like a bot to most people.

I played for a few hours, and to be honest, I can't really see any difference between the last beta. The game is still clunky, movement isn't great and the AI drives me crazy. I don't want to revive an electronically generated entity that doesn't have a beer after a few games to contemplate the good and bad of the game.
It's a fun game, the gameplay isn't "bad", but same 2 maps, I got bored in an hour. It's a little wonky at times, but games in development so I expect that, however basically no changes from the alpha to now with a demo is pretty odd. hmm. Also this game would just benefit from a server browser, don't make the same mistake 2042 did. As an Australian player, I shouldn't have to lobby surf just to find the lowest ping in Asia, I should be able to connect directly to Asian server and only them.
Yeah the 2 maps do get boring specially if you played the alpha already. only thing ive found has changed is the unlocks, some more weapons are unlocked at start.

Huge decrease on fps on STEAM, i lost almost double...come from 200fps on the first test and now testing on STEAM same option (LOW) keep on 100 fps and keep decrease to 89-90fps!!!WTF?!

2042 was a flop and this is a clone of 2042. Ea was hacked and 2042 code was stolen. Probobky by the Chinese. Hence why this looks like 2042. Ai players is a deal breaker for me.

Anyways it's "beta" and free so at least there's some new fps game before the next Battlefield comes out.
Also another thing i find weird is that you can't customize the guns in match. Like at least lett me add a sight on.
im not a fan of bf2042, but to say this game is better is crazy. The maps are good, but the gunplay, movement, and sound are so much worse.
Solid game for me, movement needs some more fluidity but otherwise guns feel great
Haven’t played with keyboard and mouse in years, quake arena is the last one I remember playing with it. Tried this today and I’m horrible, only thing I could do was snipe, because my movement is awful. I probably looked like a bot to most people.
😂 Haha yes I have the same problem, I only snipe because of this. And even sniping is terrible lol. I cant hit anyone because aiming with mouse is so diffult it will take me a week before I get used to MNK playstyle.
I played for a few hours, and to be honest, I can't really see any difference between the last beta. The game is still clunky, movement isn't great and the AI drives me crazy. I don't want to revive an electronically generated entity that doesn't have a beer after a few games to contemplate the good and bad of the game.
I enjoy the game but it will definitely be a game to just hold me until the next Battlefield.

It's a fun game, the gameplay isn't "bad", but same 2 maps, I got bored in an hour. It's a little wonky at times, but games in development so I expect that, however basically no changes from the alpha to now with a demo is pretty odd. hmm. Also this game would just benefit from a server browser, don't make the same mistake 2042 did. As an Australian player, I shouldn't have to lobby surf just to find the lowest ping in Asia, I should be able to connect directly to Asian server and only them.
Yeah the 2 maps do get boring specially if you played the alpha already. only thing ive found has changed is the unlocks, some more weapons are unlocked at start.
@@OneDollaBill Yeah I noticed I had more weapons to use, I didn't get to unlock the AWM sniper last time in the alpha, so now being able to use it off the rip is pretty nice.
i dont think its perfect but i also only play the extraction mode, its one of the better arcade type extration shooters out there, never been a big battlefield fan but the battlefield mode is fun for just killing people but rather play cod instead
Huge decrease on fps on STEAM, i lost almost double...come from 200fps on the first test and now testing on STEAM same option (LOW) keep on 100 fps and keep decrease to 89-90fps!!!WTF?!

imma pass on this played a few games and its a hard pass for me movement is horrid and like ever shooter when it starts out the hit are not registering. So hard no for me.... my FPS day are behind me they have all become the same

2042 was a flop and this is a clone of 2042. Ea was hacked and 2042 code was stolen. Probobky by the Chinese. Hence why this looks like 2042. Ai players is a deal breaker for me.
