My only real problem of Toy Chica doing the bite is that it wouldn't really consider a bite, more like a peck or a stab and the victim will have a hole in their frontly lobe, not the removal of the entirety of the frontly lobe. Also the presence of Chica's Party World is a another example unless that was before the 87 location but since Funtime Chica isn't in Sister Location my best guess that Chica's Party World is way to explaine why she is not in Sister location and why give her own restaurant if she did somthing so infamous such as the Bite of 87. Currently I'm still learning towards Mangle due to that they are given a fair enough of focus in Fnaf 2 such as a backstory and the unique attack it does towards the player.

If we take the same principal like Bite of 83, then the bite of 87 will likely cause by the same type of animatronics' design: jaw detached from the head type. Toy Animatronics (Except Mangle) doesn't even have detach jaws, their jaws are locked in place in the head shell's socket so their jaw movement are very limited. Withereds and Mangle have detach jaws just like Fredbear's and their jaws can open wide enough to fit someone's head in it.
A different youtuber mentioned that Phone Guy made a remark about how someone could survive without their frontal lobe.This obviously means the section of the victim's brain was removed, but it's more likely that it was removed in a hospital or similar place by medical experts. We were never told that the victim's head was torn apart. Add this with T. Chica's voice line, she's more likely to be the culprit, especially since the beak's removable.
Your point of Chica being themed to be at parties makes a lot of sense, so she had easy access to the victim. It's just harder to justify how Mangle could've been in place to cause the Bite, unless the victim approached them lying on the floor. I feel like the alarm would have been raised if Mangle decided to move up onto the ceiling in front of all the guests.

Besides, there's still the problem of how Mangle managed to attack the security guard during the day (since the guard moves to dayshift). If security stays at the desk, that means Mangle got up in front of all the guests and took off down the hall without warning or reason. And if Mangle was fine being ripped apart by kids, why would they suddenly change their tune and attack someone nearby? I get that it's a common theory there are holes. I'm not 100% convinced that's what happened.

It is an interesting mystery, and yes, we never truly knew who caused The Bite. Your idea that Toy Chica Caused it, by biting into the guards head, which would explain why her beak would be lodged into the forehead like T. Chica said in UCN. Given the FNAF 2 movie is gonna start filming soon, I do imagine we will finally get clarification. It’d be stupid for BlumHouse and Scott to not include The Bite of 87, or at least give us an idea to who truly did it. Also, there is a massive mystery that no one ever mentions in FNAF 3. When your in Chica’s Mini game, when you get to the area where your supposed to jump up the balloon platforms, if you try and land on the floor, you flip through it, revealing 5 shadow cupcakes. 4 that are at the right, with a fifth one following you everywhere you go. In FNaF 1 phone call, it DID say that they stopped allowing the animatronics to move around after the bite of ‘87. Mangle wouldn’t have been able to move if she was being ripped apart by the children, so it could’ve been toy Chica.
It was probably Mangle because Toy Chica’s voice line never EXPLICITLY SAYS that she bit anyone in the head, and is more likely just another instance of the animatronics intimidating us. Mangle, however, seems more likely to do damage to the frontal lobe like that. Also, Toy Chica seems to always have her beak removed in her hostile state, an without it, the exterior mouth area of her exoskeleton would disable her from doing too much damage. So it’s probably Mangle. Plus, we have to keep in mind it was partially William Afton, because even though it would never be directly him, he would still be a possible cause of the bite, seeing as how he appears to control all the animatronic, which gives Mangle motive.

I'm Team Mangle Did It. Mangle may not have the most motive since they're likely possessed by Susie's dog instead of a human like Cassidy BUT they're the most unstable and they've gone through the most post Afton pain due to the kids and employees taking them apart and putting them back together. They'd do anything to make it stop and if they're Susie's dog, they may still have their loyalty to her and knowing that a security guard killed her would make them want to protect her in spirit like they couldn't in life. Plus, Mangle's jumpscare is perfect to get at the frontal lobe because they're coming from the top and swooping in. I know Toy Chica has the Beak line and that's valid but I'm still gonna go with Mangle.

At least she has the opportunity to cause the bite of 87, although her motivation as to "why would she do this" it’s up to anyone’s guess at this point. I'm stuck between mango and toy Bonnie, mango from what was pointed out and toy bon with shadow Freddy and shadow Bonnie. It always seems to lead back to the iterations of the 2 :V. As for chica, even if she took off her beak, her shell is like an inch or 2 thick. You'd have to actively stick a hand in there to get to the Endo teeth.
It still could be freddy, toy freddy which has a smaller mouth but still have the strength to do the bite. He could've done it vertically or horizontally on the forehead which is the area of the frontal lobe

I personally believe Withered Freddy did the bite because, as you stated, we never get clarification of who the bite victim is, and the bite victim could have been FNAF 1 Pone Guy, and who knows, FNAF 1 Phone Guy could have recorded his messages during 1987
I’m with mangle. I can definitely see toy chica as a suspect. However, there soemthing that bothers me. I was kinda paying half attention so you likely mentioned this. But with Toy chica… yeh true she takes her beak off but her teeth are not like exposed enough to deliver an effective enough bite. Her jaws would likely get in the way between the forehead and the endoskeleton teeth. Mangle jaws open with the teeth this giving her way easier access to your forehead. Chica’s could still do some damage to your forehead but only taking away a little bit of the skull at worse. Plus even if she did puncture the skull somehow, only a bit of the lobe is gone not the entire lobe.
I think it was more of the wizards because in the first game, they said they would let them roam because their servos would lock up so I think it was one of those cause they’re servos locked up
you know, taking the fact that the original game mentioned The Bite of 1987, entering 1987 as the difficulty sequence for custom night immediately gives you a Golden Freddy jump scare/death. I would say that was Scott’s vision for it. We later get more games with the mini games showing us crying child getting chomped by Golden Freddy. Occam’s razor, it’s Golden Freddy.
Thebonly problem with all the theory vids is one key detail, Jeremy was working the dayshift so toy chica couldn't have done it because she only takes it off at night, and it couldnt be mangle because jeremy would have no purpose being near mangle in order to get bitten

Mind blowing thought: Mangle bit William Afton. Afton demonstrates a great lack of impulse control throughout the books and games, which is consistent with the type of injury involved in the bite of '87. William Afton also likes to impersonate security guards, (the adult bitten is said to have been a security guard) and tamper with the animatronics something demonstrated in both fnaf 1 & 2 during the custom night, the resulting p45 style pink slip received by the player giving this evidence, the player is blamed for someone else tampering with the characters while they were on duty. The bite of 87 occured on a day shift and low and behold an unknown figure gets the new day shift position ahead of the player in fnaf 2 which causes the custom night. Mangle sees and records everything it sees as evidenced in the fnaf 2 mini games where it can sometimes be seen roaming around searching for something and the fact that unscrambling it's radio static reveals a police report of the bite incident. The angry fragment of Susie in it combined with the tampering with it's facial recognition puts Afton directly in the firing line here, as he gives Susie the perfect moment to attack him in his new 'job'. Her new body's facial recognition maybe tampered with but that doesn't stop the soul from remembering a face. Also between the books and games William Afton is stated to have suffered and survived a life changing injury from an animatronic long before being springlocked in fnaf 3, something which is ever present but NEVER directly elaborated on in any fnaf media, it's a canon event with no definitive out come or implications which is strange given how crucial it is to the man's backstory and his arguments and eventual falling out with Henry Emily, leading to the monster Henry considered him to have become and to have unwittingly created.

The reason why chicas beak comes off was originally supposed to protect the guard so she can’t bite but that didn’t work because chicas actual jaw doesn’t move, so instead of biting she shoved the head into her jaws and and moved it up and down, so it could not have been her, thus the bite was caused by the mangle.

But honestly I think its withered chica and even though they dont want the withered animatronics in the main area, the parts and service isnt locked so they can just leave and i know its not locked ever because if it was then how would the withered animatronics get out at night hmmm? But what I think happened is that withered chica was like standing in the middle of the dining room (perhaps before they opened the restaurant in the morning) doing her little T-pose thing and one of the staff tried moving her which is when... I think freddy did it. He has a handprint on his forehead, maybe an imployee was fixing him in the parts/service room and touched his forehead so freddy bit his frontal lobe. That'd also explain why freddy HAS a handprint in his forehead/eye!

If Balloon Boy good cause the Bite of 87, then he would have knocked down someone to their feet, fall on top of them while they're down on the floor, and then bite them on the forehead. The only real challenge, aside from his face not being able to move because it's hard plastic, is the round body plan.

This got me wondering if the endo that walks around is actually the mimic using some kind of illusion disc or something to look more modern (and not get thrown out for looking out of place) and that either none of the other animatronics can see it or the whole "it's against the rules for an endoskeleton to be without a costume" is a lie made up to explain the animatronics behavior and prgramming.

It is an interesting mystery, and yes, we never truly knew who caused The Bite. Your idea that Toy Chica Caused it, by biting into the guards head, which would explain why her beak would be lodged into the forehead like T. Chica said in UCN.
Given the FNAF 2 movie is gonna start filming soon, I do imagine we will finally get clarification. It’d be stupid for BlumHouse and Scott to not include The Bite of 87, or at least give us an idea to who truly did it.
Also, there is a massive mystery that no one ever mentions in FNAF 3. When your in Chica’s Mini game, when you get to the area where your supposed to jump up the balloon platforms, if you try and land on the floor, you flip through it, revealing 5 shadow cupcakes. 4 that are at the right, with a fifth one following you everywhere you go.

In FNaF 1 phone call, it DID say that they stopped allowing the animatronics to move around after the bite of ‘87. Mangle wouldn’t have been able to move if she was being ripped apart by the children, so it could’ve been toy Chica.

It was probably Mangle because Toy Chica’s voice line never EXPLICITLY SAYS that she bit anyone in the head, and is more likely just another instance of the animatronics intimidating us. Mangle, however, seems more likely to do damage to the frontal lobe like that. Also, Toy Chica seems to always have her beak removed in her hostile state, an without it, the exterior mouth area of her exoskeleton would disable her from doing too much damage. So it’s probably Mangle. Plus, we have to keep in mind it was partially William Afton, because even though it would never be directly him, he would still be a possible cause of the bite, seeing as how he appears to control all the animatronic, which gives Mangle motive.

I'm Team Mangle Did It. Mangle may not have the most motive since they're likely possessed by Susie's dog instead of a human like Cassidy BUT they're the most unstable and they've gone through the most post Afton pain due to the kids and employees taking them apart and putting them back together. They'd do anything to make it stop and if they're Susie's dog, they may still have their loyalty to her and knowing that a security guard killed her would make them want to protect her in spirit like they couldn't in life. Plus, Mangle's jumpscare is perfect to get at the frontal lobe because they're coming from the top and swooping in. I know Toy Chica has the Beak line and that's valid but I'm still gonna go with Mangle.

I’m with mangle. I can definitely see toy chica as a suspect. However, there soemthing that bothers me. I was kinda paying half attention so you likely mentioned this. But with Toy chica… yeh true she takes her beak off but her teeth are not like exposed enough to deliver an effective enough bite. Her jaws would likely get in the way between the forehead and the endoskeleton teeth. Mangle jaws open with the teeth this giving her way easier access to your forehead. Chica’s could still do some damage to your forehead but only taking away a little bit of the skull at worse. Plus even if she did puncture the skull somehow, only a bit of the lobe is gone not the entire lobe.
I think it was more of the wizards because in the first game, they said they would let them roam because their servos would lock up so I think it was one of those cause they’re servos locked up

you know, taking the fact that the original game mentioned The Bite of 1987, entering 1987 as the difficulty sequence for custom night immediately gives you a Golden Freddy jump scare/death. I would say that was Scott’s vision for it. We later get more games with the mini games showing us crying child getting chomped by Golden Freddy. Occam’s razor, it’s Golden Freddy.

Thebonly problem with all the theory vids is one key detail, Jeremy was working the dayshift so toy chica couldn't have done it because she only takes it off at night, and it couldnt be mangle because jeremy would have no purpose being near mangle in order to get bitten

Mind blowing thought: Mangle bit William Afton. Afton demonstrates a great lack of impulse control throughout the books and games, which is consistent with the type of injury involved in the bite of '87. William Afton also likes to impersonate security guards, (the adult bitten is said to have been a security guard) and tamper with the animatronics something demonstrated in both fnaf 1 & 2 during the custom night, the resulting p45 style pink slip received by the player giving this evidence, the player is blamed for someone else tampering with the characters while they were on duty. The bite of 87 occured on a day shift and low and behold an unknown figure gets the new day shift position ahead of the player in fnaf 2 which causes the custom night. Mangle sees and records everything it sees as evidenced in the fnaf 2 mini games where it can sometimes be seen roaming around searching for something and the fact that unscrambling it's radio static reveals a police report of the bite incident. The angry fragment of Susie in it combined with the tampering with it's facial recognition puts Afton directly in the firing line here, as he gives Susie the perfect moment to attack him in his new 'job'. Her new body's facial recognition maybe tampered with but that doesn't stop the soul from remembering a face. Also between the books and games William Afton is stated to have suffered and survived a life changing injury from an animatronic long before being springlocked in fnaf 3, something which is ever present but NEVER directly elaborated on in any fnaf media, it's a canon event with no definitive out come or implications which is strange given how crucial it is to the man's backstory and his arguments and eventual falling out with Henry Emily, leading to the monster Henry considered him to have become and to have unwittingly created.

The reason why chicas beak comes off was originally supposed to protect the guard so she can’t bite but that didn’t work because chicas actual jaw doesn’t move, so instead of biting she shoved the head into her jaws and and moved it up and down, so it could not have been her, thus the bite was caused by the mangle.

But what I think happened is that withered chica was like standing in the middle of the dining room (perhaps before they opened the restaurant in the morning) doing her little T-pose thing and one of the staff tried moving her which is when... Well... Y'know... The bite happened.

This got me wondering if the endo that walks around is actually the mimic using some kind of illusion disc or something to look more modern (and not get thrown out for looking out of place) and that either none of the other animatronics can see it or the whole "it's against the rules for an endoskeleton to be without a costume" is a lie made up to explain the animatronics behavior and prgramming.

I think that Mangle did it, because though the toy animatronics dont hurt children, Mangle was taken apart by the kids so that either could have cause some sort of malfunction to Mangle or her to seek revenge for the way the kids took her apart and made her to way she looks now
