Hey guys! This is the first in a series of 'BMAT Tips' videos where I'll be going over some BMAT strategy and preparation tips. In this video, we go over how to prepare for section 1.
TL;DR - practice lots of questions, and learn some strategy for the Critical Thinking questions.

Ali Abdaal This may sound really silly, but could you use an erasable pen (black ink) in section 3? Section 3 isn't scanned is it, it's marked by examiners, so I'm guessing it shouldn't be a problem? Idk? Also using one would mean you can make it look more neat and save space?

If I am applying to, hopefully, getting into med school in September when should I take my BMAT test and when should I start my UCAS application? and my final question does Cambridge offer scholarships to overseas students?
You should start your application straight away as the deadline is the 15th of october regardless if you are applying to Oxbridge or not.
The BMAT took place in September but the upcoming date is the 31st of October which you can still register for.
And no, Cambridge does not offer scholarships or bursaries or loans for international students.

@@aliabdaal :O please give tips for suceeding in A Levels and your results are amazing. My college only allows everyone to take 3 A Levels so I am immediately taking Oxford/Cambridge out of the equation however would still love to take medicine.

Khan Academy is a very good 0ne for critical thinking parts!!! - type in "how to find the main conclusion in the argument Khan academy" on google. It will give free lessons on how to find Assumptions, conclusions, flaws, etc. I highly reccomend it!
I find Section 1 so much time consuming and i need best tips to become adept in it! Although season 2 is so easy for me! I solve past papers sec 2 so easily and score high always
