I’m more than happy with waiting if we get the best Akuma we’ve ever gotten, but you have no clue how many times I’ve seen the Street Fighter account post a tweet or a UA-cam video and it’s just more battle hub nonsense that would look better on characters that people actually cared about. It’s meant for people that can’t do the actual inputs in other words and easy mode…. Most people that use modern controls just spam anyway

The devs already said a while ago when this shit was announced, they wanted to bring more new players into the game that couldn’t play streetfighter before because they thought it would be too difficult to pull off the inputs….. It’s a dumb feature and the main reason why I don’t play ranked anymore … there should be a separate rank system for people using easy controls nothing worse than playing against Ryu and someone can spam hadukens with one button or do one button command grabs with Zangief…

I advise against at least playing Modern on Ryu. He has the most basic special moveset button inputs. It will help you with inputs for other characters in many other fighting games too in the long run

Gouki is at Evo Japan and more than likely a week or 2 after. At this point I don’t know why act surprised the community manager is uploading fluff. Much as I’ve hated the schedule for it, they still stick to their internal roadmap. I pray it changes for season 2 at least 😅

Secondo me i controlli moderni danno sono troppo facili da usare e spesso c'è chi ne abusa. Non mi piace l'idea che qualcuno basta che prema due tasti e subito attiva la Critical Art oppure ti massacra sempre con la stessa tecnica. Secondo me i comandi moderni dovrebbero essere rivisti.

my only guess as to why they're re-introducing videos about modern control is that they must be doing a huge update for season 2. I wouldn't think they'd do "Super SF6" so soon, but there's literally no reason to re-orientate players to modern. There hasn't been anything new to bring in new casuals to benefit from these videos, the casuals who do benefit from it have already purchased the game long ago. So in my mind, the only reason to re-release and make new videos is because they're anticipating an influx of new players with a title update.

I use to play this game a lot! But I just got tried of playing against people using modern controls. Worst addition to the game, get gudder and learn to play the game the way it was intended to! Maybe if they added a modern controls server that would help 🤔.

this is a horrible take, my god. If it helps new players be introduced to the game then who cares. If they end up sticking with the game, they'll likely want to learn how to play properly and will pick up classic controls. @@UhDewSea 99% people who play Modern will not learn how to play Classic. This is a delusional take. A M player will always be a M player cause there's no point for them in learning Classic. They will rather deal a bit less damage but be on easy mode than to learn the game as intended.

In terms of learning the game, motion inputs are TINY compared to the actual hard shit. Spacing, Footsies, Mindgames and so on.
