I want to add two parameters. Our model name consists of two parts - part number and revision (e.g. aaxx01_a1). so i want to add 1st parameter(part number) that will take the first 5 letters of the model name and 2nd parameter (revision) that will take the last 2 letters of the model name. i want to add them to the drawing and BOM. so how to i define /add these parameters.
@@CADxTraining Yes, I think Using the tree column, it's very easy to add the same parameter to every part in a assembly if there are only one or two parameters to add
But creating a new parameter through three column is a time taking process. Because for his part you need to change the parameter type before filling the parameter value.
So great this lecture sir
So perfect sir
Most welcome. Please subscribe to the channel.
Kindly design the framework and welding parameter on the square tude in the creo

bhi drawings bhi upload kr deya kro
You don't need any drawing for this video
I think the better way to add parameters is by using tree column.
Yes, you can even copy and paste the value from the Excel sheet if you go with tree column.
Hello, can you create a new parameter by tree column?

If you use a start part with correct parameters before model the part, you don't have to add anithing
Yes you are correct. But in case you need to do that anytime, it will be helpful.
