Great job. How can you create a mapkey for a normal view to a certain surface in the model environment (not in the sketcher) without going into sketch mode ?
😀 I had the same problem initially. Don't worry it's simple. First you open the notepad with run as administrator, and then you browse this config file and open. Now you can edit it and save the config file.
@@CADxTraining Sir, I hope you would ans for this...Extrude 1 map key worked but Extrude 2 its not working (combined mapkey)...when i edit extrude and edit sketch that time unlink option showing rather than edit.
@@CADxTraining Were you working with CADD Centre in past? Your example shows you couln't come out of AutoCAD. I was using IDEAS from 2000 to 2002. Since 2002 I switched to Pro/E then Creo. Unfortunately I know AutoCAD too. But always refused to work on AutoCAD. It was outdated for me in 2000.
Sir, i have a doubt in mapkeys, 1. I have 2 extrudes in model tree. Then i created a mapkey for extrude edit on 1st extrude on my model tree. Also save those.. 2. And it also work on 1st of my extrude, if i do this on my 2nd extrude. It doesn't work 3. Simply it goes to the first extrude not the 2nd one. 4. Please explain sir, waiting for your reply...
Your record step is wrong. 1st you open mapkey window and then just select extrude1. Now you click on record and then go for edit definition. For better understanding, once again see the video.
Make video series on Assembly in creo, which cover, nut bolt, all gears rack and pinion, cam follower, belt drive, chain drive , all this mechanisms with apply motion in creo .

Which version of Creo are you using? Because this is already available in creo parametric.
@@CADxTraining Creo 2.0 unfortunately doesn't have it. Very frustrating to work without it

Create a saved view. Then create a mapped key for the same. It was availble since Creo was Pro/Engineer. I used it in 2002.

Some issues can only be solved by hit and trial method. It's not always easy to give a solution from my end. Hope you will understand thank you.
How to include combination of ctrl key ??
For how many years (or decade) you have been working on AutoCAD, before you switch to any parametric software?
I still use autocad. Both the softwares go parallely. I am using these softwares from 2004.
