Real shame you didn't mention the screws on the bottom that hold the top cover in.. In your Video it appears like it's just a snap on when it is actually screwed in with 3 screws.
Because of that i broke my top cover in half. So that was pretty much the end of my RK87 adventure.

Thank you so much, I was in the middle of modding the RK87 and I couldn't figure out how to remove the plate. I removed all 12 screws and could not lift the plate out 😅Turns out there's another screw under the rubber feet lol

Hey there, tiny question. I removed all 3 screws from the back and the feet and while the upper part could be popped off, I noticed the lower part of the plate seems to be held by something else. Any idea what that could be or can I just pop it off with enough force?
spent so long finding the right screw driver just for there already to be foam
wow that battery is tiny. with the moldings i wonder if you can dremel it off and use a bigger battery.
Yeah lets not mention the screw on the underiside of the kb before removing the topplate

Hi, mine is RK987A, seems slightly different than yours, how do you pop the cover so easy? unable to pop it open

Cause i wanna try some stabilizer but the store said it is for the plate mount.

question, does the keyboard come with foam? i have mine but I havent disassmbled it yet maybe u know whats inside xD coz I hear that new rk keyboards come with foam inside
i have 87 and 84 (2021 version), there are no foam inside.
Maybe, bcoz in 2022 most of new keyboard product come with foam dampener inside.

oh yea I know its late already, but I just opened it FOR THE FIRST TIME and added foam mod, it sounds wayyy better now and I cleaned the lower casing but I did have to unscrew the mounts of the usb c connector because removing the connector is way harder for me who doesnt like long fingernails

You remove cover top so easy!!! I can't remove it :(
Just removed the cover from mine. For me it required a lot of brute force to pry it open.
haha same, this is why I came to the video and he does it in the first 2 seconds and makes it look so easy
Okay I got mine off and I had three screws. One under each angle adjuster and one under a sticker.
man how can you take off the cover so easy i still cant take it off yet
Dont forget to unscrew under the rubber pad
