I've got a 58 DDO same. And another just not as strong in the doubling. Just recently found these in a old man on my road had pretty much gave to me being in as gift to another coin enthusiast alike that collected the whole 51 lbs of his collection of coins in all kinds of various types and varieties. from his childhood and just until about a year ago.
It's just I keep wondering if he we're aware that he has been carrying riches for the years past who knows how long. The 80s or so. He was very good at researching the collection this I know. Blowing my mind of the things he knew about everything coin.. With great respect I had for him and though now he is off on to another adventure in another dimension.. Numisman you rock👍 I cherry picked a 44S FS-101 Washington quarter unattributed in a old NGC fatty holder in a 66. I sold it yesterday to a local dealer for a 37D Washington I have at a ms66 and some supplies 2 new dansco albums Lincoln cents and Washington quarter album and 100 bucks cash👍 I won it for 35 on Ebay. I think I did quite well.

My Grandfather collected coins and he gave me and my sister coinc from the 50's and 40's. (She got the 40's because shes older) I got the 50's and I have a LOT of them. I may have the 1958 D in Brown color. The date definately has the same lines of separation. Liberty is close to the one shown but it’s not quite dbl on the In God We Trust . It’s so close. What’s it worth in BRN AU -55. ?

Take clear photos, slap them on Ebay or whatever and if they are clear of the variety with die markers it will sell if its raw. Otherwise send them to graders and there's no issue with someone saying it's not this or that.

How does a coin have mint marks from 2 different mints? For instance, a D over S mint mark travels from Denver to San Francisco? I don't understand unless the same mint is producing coins for all of the mints?

The mint ran out of obverse dies so they sent the other mints die because they didn't want to make another die to finish production. If that makes sense.

I have 1950 D wheat penny, I have
1955 D wheat penny(with errors on penny), I have 1956 penny(double dye on number 9 of the date, and barely can see the D under the date, I have 1957 wheat penny, I have 3 1959 Lincoln pennies(2 of the 3 pennies is D pennies, the other 1959 penny does not have a mint mark.
Also, I have a 1926 no mint mark wheat penny, with errors on the 1926 wheat penny.

The 1957 wheat penny I was telling you about has double dye on the date. Also, the 1956 penny I was telling you about is very interesting because not only the date is double dye but the number 9 in the date is very interesting because of how the 9 is made out to look and their are a different color of dye on Lincoln face and on the front and back of the penny. I can send pics to you so you can see the 1956 penny and how this penny may be very valuable

Sounds like you might have a Tombac coin. They go for $10 to $20 in a descent grade.

If u have a cooper 43 or a steel 44, ur in the big money.other wise.ddo ddr misc.errors are worth more(at least 20bucks per penny).no errors worth up to 5bucks.
