Pixel Peep it here: ua-cam.com/video/CdIQYAhdQHo/v-deo.html Can you tell she is cold and hating me in the first 1 minute of intro? I made it up to her with Studio Cats and Rice Cripsy Treats! So... Pixel 7 Pro next? :P
Is anyone seeing what I'm seeing??????? The quality 😭🤌❤️, this quality is def enough to replace a camera if you're on a trip you don't want to bring your camera on!
Absolutely. Been like that for a few years although the bump in MPs helps :) If you wanna pixel peep check this one out where I compare the Jpegs and AppleRaws: ua-cam.com/video/CdIQYAhdQHo/v-deo.html
@@TristanPope I will! My phone coming tomorrow iPhone 14 pro max space black, got it to shoot short films, man oh man there is no way she didn't take those photos from you for herself 🤣
@@TristanPope hello I'm back, I'm having some problems now that I got the phone, say I take a pic and the memory is like 200mb, when I air drop it to my iPad to edit or anywhere it drops to like 10mb losing a lot of details or even if I try to upload a video. But watching your video the quality remains the same Help please 🙏❤️
Fantastic shots! You may know this already, but there are at least 2 3rd party apps- Halide 2 and Camera M- that allow you to shoot in jpg with the full 48mp resolution. It would be interesting to see if the delay is bad and if the quality is better than shooting at 12mp. Again, I loved seeing the photos, and I’m impressed with your work. Dancers have always been one of my favorite subjects to photograph, and these shots inspired me to do more.
Thank you for the kind words! The delay is the same and sometimes even worse actually in these third party apps sadly 48MP is 48mp no matter if it is Jpeg or DNG. Not really sure why these other apps are offering to do it in JPEG actually, then it isn't RAW... Plus Halide 2 is a RIDICULOUS subscription fee that is just not worth it for what it offers. But appreciate you sharing that. I have indeed tried majority of the ones you listed. I do wish the stock app allowed for white balance adjustments like Android. But hey, shooting in RAW it doesn't matter much haha. And yes SHOOT MORE DANCERS! The world needs more culture haha.
@@TristanPope I thought that might be the case. I have the 13 Pro and haven’t had a chance to even try the 14. I agree about Halide being too expensive, but I use Camera M a lot. I mainly shoot portraits, so the speed isn’t a factor. I shoot raw+jpg, but I’m a perfectionist, so I usually end up editing the raw. Again, great work. I’m looking forward to seeing more.
@@ricktaylor7275 Thank you. Looking forward to having more to show you. Feel free to take a look at the deep dive into the editing differences on this shoot in Lightroom Raw vs JPEG: ua-cam.com/video/CdIQYAhdQHo/v-deo.html
As a photographer the 14 pro max is beautiful With android phones, the problem I face is that the shutter delay is random and really bad, even in jpeg Whereas my 14 pro max can take a jpeg instantly every single time
Yes there is a processing delay on android it has to do with the processing and operating system On the pixel 7 is has gotten better but still There sadly. You can see it in my other video I show side by side the shooting speeds. Crazy difference.
Great shots - you're wrong about the delay in ProRAW, there's no delay if you give it time to process in between the shots, there's only a delay if you keep shooting in like burst mode, as it takes 3 seconds to process each shot.
There is an actual delay on when the iPhones decides to take the actual photo when using raw. Just like on the regular camera. The hitting the button and processing all seem to have an effect regardless. A delay between shooting shots is present regardless of processing or not. You cannot snap consecutive shots which for motion and dance is very important. Waiting for a phone to process the shot is a delay ;) as is clicking the shutter and it not immediately taking the photo. Glad you enjoyed the video!

The dancer is terrific. The images in the rain are spectacular.
Thank you. She’s wonderful
The iphone 14 pro Max is the best smartphone, far superior to any other. Great video!
Thank you. It is a great phone. The pixel does give it a run for its money in the photo world.

so good bro, was it auto mode or you got some settings? and were turn on the "live" mode for some full motion pictures?
thanks. I always lock the focus and exposure. I also never use live mode due to processing time.

@@TristanPope There’s a delay yes, but maybe 0,1 - 0,2 second, not 3 seconds for single shots.
@@TheKimNeeper give it a shot on something in motion. It can vary :) it is not predictable either.
