Yea i think i like him over Nabers. I want Alt but since Ran/Calli are puttin out "we're taking a WR at 7" vibes i could be excited about Odunze.
Think back to the Steelers game. They were all over DHop and we had nowhere to go with the ball. If we had Odunze we would have moved the ball better. Even with a shit OL
@vincentzarate2969 that seems to be the logic that Ran/Calli are using. I'm not a fan of it, i think oline is critical to the success of the entire offense. Just think if Burrow had another fraction of a second on that last play in the superbowl. But they didnt have Bill Callahan coaching oline so... We shall see. If they go WR, i hope its Odunze. He's clearly better than Nabers. His work ethic combined with Levis work ethic could be very productive.

Not sure what's crazier: that 6'3 makes you the 5th tallest in your class or that people are saying that 4.45 is a slow time?? I remember when if you ran 4.4 anything then you had a great day at the combine. WR is a position where 40-time doesn't mean much &never has, since Jerry Rice ran a 4.7 & Cooper Kupp ran 4.6. Just some more facts going into the league Odunze is faster than AJ Brown &has a higher vertical by 2.5 inches....so anyone talking about how he didn't perform well is F'ing insane
Cooper is a completely different receiver though. He is a slot guy and needs to be shifty. Odunze or Nabers is the question.

Odunze is a good x but an elite slot. If he's used like Davante Adams he could be special.
He changed my mind! I actually wanted nabors over odunze off of highlights and cacensus etc .. but now i want odunze over nabors! I think his personality is a better fit for a locker room .. and he seems very smart? High energy.... Nahors came off as lazy? Low energy? And seemed like a dimwit to me?

Nabers is a slot receiver, Rome plays the X. There is no comparison because they play different spots

I looked at all the highlights from the top receivers and odunze’s highlights looks the most like devante adams. This is definitely the closest comp
I respect Chris's point of view on players but he is often willing to offer a detailed opinion even when he hasn't seen them play. Or when he hasn't even watched a game.

Im just concerned with the beginning of his routes vs press coverage. His hands are great and he highpoints the ball, but his releases and short area quickness is nowhere close to Adams
You're comparing him to prime davante not fresh out of college davante.
He has good short area quickness shown by his drills so he has the tools to get better in his releases

AJ Brown ran a 4.49. Ju Ju Smith Schuster ran a 4.54 10-yard split was better for Ju Ju. Vertical for AJ was better. Broad jump was exactly the same. Speed is not the reason Ju Ju is not an X receiver. It has very little to do with speed.
