Thank you for your thorough explanation of how the play progresses. The pressure this creates on the defense would be mentally exhausting. Very effective.
Thanks
Play was🔥
I'm relearning how to scan the field and having Plays that make it easier is a gift. Thank you
You're welcome👍. Glad to help.
Good information coach loved it. I would adjust on the motion sending the hook seam player to capture the motion and rotate the safety to #2
Me too.
I love your content, keep it coming, thanks coach
Hey Mike.. this is 'animal".. Bucs fan from the old days... nice job
My all-time favorite Copper Bowl MVP.
Thanks Gary! 🙌🐻
Great play Coach! Love to hear you describe the throw “tight-2” same language I use with my son.
Thanks Randy
Hi Mike, I realize this is mostly for entertainment and beginner level coaches but you're making a whole lot of assumptions about the defense in all these coverages. As you know, us DC's aren't just going to stand there and allow this stuff. There are answers in each of the coverages you mentioned for these type of route concepts but you are correct, at the high school level for sure, it's difficult to defend because of the lack of time coaches are allowed with the players. Also, assumptions about the QB (eyes, timing, arm strength, et al). Then there are the receivers...
BTW, I played against you a few times in the AFL back in the day(Milwaukee) and I appreciated your talent. You were always in good shape and well prepared. Maybe I'll start a YT channel myself... we could do some back and forth.. All the best!
Will have to write this one down ! ✅ Great stuff.
Thanks Chase!
As soon as that RB motions this is a Quads adjust. Depends on how you want to defend that.
I love the "Unstoppable" plays.
If beats them all, why run anything else?
Having said that, this play is a bitch and would get lots of attention during the week.
What would you call this play? Or what would multiple coaches call this play?
I run an unbalanced line single wing and we have 2x2 and 3x1 formation. My question is this, do you think this would work at the middle school level or is this too much for my inexperience QB?
In the event that they out scheme your pass protection, which route should be the hot?
Dagger and Mills also look like easy adjustments to this concept. (this should keep them from expecting number one and number three always running verticals).
RB v LB is always a good hot option. Shallow cross from X is also good. both are easy rhythm throws.
Beautiful DESIGN play Coach, what is the name of this play?
Do you need the HB motion ?!
What would be the progression on this? My thought would be, alert Go/Comeback - Climb - TE seam - Shallow - Back
You are unreal sir
What would be the qb progression?
Hey, love you content. I start 9 man varsity football, and I’m a freshman. I would love to play d-1, but I am wondering if playing 9 man will decrease my chances of getting recruited. Hope to get a response. Thanks!
I think college coaches are less inclined to look at 9 man because it doesn't translate very well. I'd consider a JC as an option if you want to play college and show out there.
I don’t know where you live but you might also consider joining a competitive 7 on 7 team. You can also learn perfect passing mechanics here: www.eliteathletestv.com/sports/qb-secrets. There’s a free video on developing the right grip.
I subbed without hesitation
What would this concept be called? I don't know much about football so I'm using this channel to learn.
It’s a form of verticals. In the air raid vernacular it would be “6” they could then tag the shallow cross and the switch of landmarks by #2 and # 3 receivers to the trips side.
Other teams would have other names but the concept is “verticals” or verts.
@@EliteAthletesTV I appreciate you for your response. 😎
3:39 I feel like that LB isn’t going to be able to pick up the TE even without the rub
Definitely a bad angle. But if he takes a good angle n the pick makes him avoid or bubble.
Is this a high school?
No this is the PAC 12. Good teams
