do you plan on continuing this series? i may not be a video game sound designer, but stuff like this is very useful for music as well and your videos are very helpful 😁
The Genelecs are very mean speakers, they don't hide much, so I've been liking them. 5.1 is really only useful if you are the person mixing but it is useful to reference your work so you know how things sound. Just remember 90% of your audience is going to be listening to your mix on stereo headphones.
I don’t have a favorite per say, I use the Verum Ones for detailed reference but they are open back headphones so the bass isn’t as boomy. I rely heavily on monitors for the main mix and use apple headphones or the Verum Ones for reference mixing.
@@AftertouchAudio So I work in an office space at work which is where I have to do all my mixing until we get a studio would you say they would be the best option for mobile mixing.
I wish there were more sound designers in the world because this channel is so good it should have millions of subs
You and me both, often times we are very busy and have a hard time making some time to make content haha, but you'll be seeing more for me =^.^=
You don't need this channel my friend. You just need to experiment with sound and find your own voice.

How are you finding the little genelecs by the way, also do you find that 5.1 is necessary for game audio?
