- I've had the Louis Vuitton ALMA BB for almost two years now and I'm finally doing an honest review about the bag. Find out my PROS and CONS about the bag, and what prompted me to BUY THE BAG.

The variety of textures in the HIDUPZ pack is impressive. From smooth leather to textured suede, there's something for everyone.
I still love my LV reverse monogram LYXBAG clutch! It's versatile, fits a variety of items, and is definitely a workhorse! I think seeing it everywhere (like the LV speedy) is proof that it's already a classic.
You nailed it ... I can relate with having a perfect, new, bag and not using it. I bought the Alma BB in Damier today in San Francisco, Union Square, and plan to use it, dressed up and down. Hoping it will be my every occasion handbag. It is so cute and beautiful!!!

Same situation with my neverfull MM..dont use it..just looks great when I open the cupboard..perhaps the reason for me is that I bought it because of all the hype...cant bear to sell it too..for traveling i use my longchamp..you are not alone..
Glad I’m not the only one with this situation. 😭 Gosh, you would think you’d use the Neverfull a ton! That’s what I thought when I got this Alma BB but then we don’t. 🙃🙃🙃
Finally! I got mine two days ago. So gorgeous and I love it. Damier is very practical and iconic. Price when up but it’s worth it. my forever bag. thank you for sharing your video

I know exactly what you mean. I’ve always wanted to own the Speedy 30 but once I got it I find myself not reaching for it as much. I got it brand new as a gift and maybe I wanna preserve it by not using it? The nano speedy probably would’ve been more suitable to my everyday lifestyle. But I love my speedy 30 and no plans to get rid of it. Love your vids!
So strange right? 😭 It’s like we bought it to display and look at the bags at home. I guess as long as we are happy we have them in our collection, right?
It's a very versatile bag. You can use it day or night time. Love that when I went to the store, I couldn't believe that it was available at that time. I also love the Damier print because it is so simple and elegant.

I owned that bag since 2018, specifically for social gatherings. Thanks to covid, my Alma BB has been in my shelf.
I could casually dress it down but it’s not the type I would bring it to a grocery store. It doesn’t hold up my daily essentials either.
So true right? It’s not an everyday errands kind of bag but a bit more dressy, like for parties and events maybe? ☺️☺️☺️

I would wear it regularly if I were you. I just purchased my Alma BB damier ebene at the Bloomingdale's LV store at the Galleria in Glendale, CA last Saturday. Will wear it in two weeks for my nephew's baptism (I'm the ninang) and to Vegas the second week of April. It's a lovely, everyday bag that you can dress up for nights out by using the top handle. I feel the same way. I got the pochette Métis a year ago I only have used it 3 times. and I just admire it in the closet. I am considering the alma bb because I feel it might be lower maintenance than the pochette metis. I didn’t think i would be babying my bag so much but it’s in such beautiful condition I just want to keep it that way.

@@kellymisa08 You should check out the neo alma bb in empreinte leather. I just got it and it’s much more convenient to open. Very flexible and has wider opening 👍😊.
I have Alma BB Monogram, also don't use it often, bought around a year, used for less than 5 times. It is a little small for my daily essentials. I don't like switch bags especially wallets, small pouches. When I switch all my stuff from Speedy B25 to Alma BB, this bag seems too small and heavier than expected. Now my bag only sits in my closet, as how beautiful it is, I have not sold it. But I am thinking about selling. Plus, I am not a big fan of monogram, I wish I bought epi.
Aww that was my worry when I was choosing between Monogram and Damier Ebene! I love the look of the Monogram but I would worry about every spill and scratch. I still love it though!!! 😍😍😍😍 And me too I super can relate with not changing bags, though lately I’ve made it a point to change weekly so the other bags can be on rotation, even if it’s just to go to the bank.

Yeah very relateable, I also bought a bag but of another brand, I bought it coz its like an eye candy, been 2 yrs but havent really use it yet coz whenever i think of using it, it feels like its too fancy to where I'll go (especially that there are so many judgnental, when they base status on bags)...and i guess the size of what I bought wont fit all the stuffs I bring though...

My friend got it in the damier but I got mine in epi. Its both cute and classic. For some reason I wanted this in epi maybe I have damier and mono already something different in epi. Nights out with hubby. Its weird yea if a buy new I dont want to use it much but pre love I am rotating always. I tried not to buy so many bags only keep what I truly use and love. I have to tell myself minimal. Dont buy lol. Enjoy it more use it hunnny.

I got my alma bb last september 2020 & have used it 3 times. Im the exact same as you, I think I am afraid to use it because it so so beautiful🤣❤️🙈I have a speedy 30 that Ive had for years and have no problem using it & its still in excellent condition. LV bags dont come with authenticity cards as far as I know.

the bag is absolutely gorgeous, but very disappointed with the unadjustable strap. i have to pay an extra of $401.00 AU for anadjustable strap.

I think it’s a yes! This bag is so cute and can really look good on anyone. The strap is adjustable too or you can attach a shorter chain strap that I think will look just as good. ❤️

I ended up buying a original speedy from fashionphile and started using that more. Lol 😆 I guess since I new it was used and not brand new it was more carefree. I thought it was just me. When I bought it almost 2 years ago it was P68k, but with the price increase it should be much more now. ☺️ I think it would be best to buy in the UAE because luxury goods are tax free there (please correct me if I’m wrong). I can relate to not using a bag because it’s pretty and new. But after using it two or more times, I fell even more in love with the bag that I naturally just kept on using it. I still wipe it clean every after use though. 😁
Maybe I need to hit the 4th or 5th time to use it, then I will be using it all the time! ☺️☺️☺️ I’ll really make an effort to use it this year! ❤️

@@kellymisa08 I know you got it from the LV boutique. May I know what authenticity card you are refering to? Is it the one that says what it’s made of? Because as far as I know, LV doesn’t have an authenticy card.
I also have an Alma BB and I bought it from an LV boutique here in Europe. No authenticity card.

“Louis Vuitton does not come with any authenticity cards. In order to tell if the bag is real, manufacturer places a unique stamp with a place and date code on the inside of the purse...”
All new LV bags now come with a microchip somewhere inside the lining of the bag that contains the date code, where it was made and other info like the owner’s name.
