- An unexpected find here. The final seconds of Mon Colle Knights on Fox Kids, and the last split screen credits before rebranding to FoxBox that next Saturday. This was recorded back in the day for a football game that aired right after Fox Kids.
Fair Use, educational, you know the drill.
No requests, I do not have a recording of every airing of every show in existence, alright?
RIP Fox Kids. That block may be long gone, but it’s not forgotten…
Before FOX Kids became The FoxBox!❤️📺🎶👍🏻
The following week, Power Rangers Wild Force moved to the American Broadcasting Company as part of the ABC Kids block.
Nice for the Fox Box announcer to namedrop Fox Kids
The Dark Times were just around the Corner
FoxBox the Downfall of Saturday Morning Cartoons
If it was me and it was my responsibility to air the final Fox Kids Sat. broadcast, I would have thrown the schedule out the window and do (at least) a Five Hour farewell tribute 🔥
The last program for the last day of Fox Kids was Mon Colle Knights.
In 2006, Mon Colle Knights returned to tv to air on Toon Disney/Jetix
RIP Fox Kids (1990-2002)
I never watched Fox Kids on Saturday mornings but it was my childhood years.
The last words on Fox Kids "I'm sticking to Badminton from now on!"
After 12 years of Saturday morning and weekday afternoon longevity. 😢 Most versatile block around, well, next to the then-still living _Kids' WB_
Saturday September 7th,2002 was the day Disney’s One Saturday Morning ended on ABC.
@@FernandoIfillRuiz and also Teen NBC (home of _Saved by the Bell_ and it's plethora of clone series) just weeks later.
@@JasonDelarosa2000 I read on Wikipedia that TNBC ended on Saturday September 28th,2002 and on Saturday October 5th,2002 Discovery Kids on NBC launched.
@@FernandoIfillRuiz 2002; what a turning point for television; the end of three '90s Saturday morning blocks, the NBA on NBC, 9/11 after effects and other factors
Never Forget!
Heck Yeah!!! :D I knew it would be found one of these days!!! :D
Now they should find the one where Dave wills VA says to jump over to watch the cw4kids block after 4kidstv. Ended on Fox.
Then the Downfall of Saturday Morning Cartoons began
Well, at least there was Kids WB and Nick on CBS…
@@heyitsarkiethan in 2008, Kids WB joined FOX Kids because it got replaced by The CW4Kids

@@BokanProductions really?! wow!
Fox Kids ended in 2002 due to Disney's acquisition of Fox Family Worldwide. It was rebranded as Jetix in 2004 as a programming block on Toon Disney and a brand of international children's television networks. In 2009, Toon Disney and Jetix were rebranded to Disney XD. In 2021, Disney XD closed down internationally as a result of the international expansion of Disney+.
Fox Kids was replaced by FoxBox, a Saturday morning children's programming block co-created by Fox Corporation and 4Kids Entertainment, a film and television production and licensing company known for producing English-dubbed Japanese anime series, such as Pokémon and Yu-Gi-Oh. FoxBox's programming consists of animated shows aimed at children aged 7-11, including Ultraman: Tiga, Ultimate Muscle, Kirby: Right Back at Ya!, Fighting Foodons, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2003), Sonic X, Shaman King, Winx Club, and One Piece. In 2005, FoxBox rebranded into 4Kids TV and launched several new shows, including Mew Mew Power, Magical Do-Re-Mi, Viva Pinata, Chaotic, and Yu-Gi-Oh!.
4Kids TV also gained notoriety for its anime censorship by removing, replacing, and re-editing most of the inappropriate scenes for two reasons: 1.) in order to attract the western audience and 2.) to comply with the broadcast standards by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
In 2008, 4Kids TV ended its run on Fox after six years, due to intervening conflicts with the broadcast television network. They would signed a new deal with The CW to replace Kids WB with a new Saturday morning children's programming block called "The CW4Kids" and later rebranded to Toonzai in 2010.
Toonzai was discontinued in 2012 due to 4Kids Entertainment's declaration of bankruptcy. It was replaced by Vortexx, a Saturday morning children's programming block co-created by The CW and Saban Brands. Vortexx's programming featured animated programs previously carried on 4Kids TV, as well as live-action programming, including Power Rangers: Lost Galaxy and the short-lived WWE weekly series "WWE Saturday Morning Slam."
Vortexx was discontinued in 2014 due to all major broadcast television networks in the United States were mandated by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) to use their Saturday morning lineup to feature educational and informational (E/I) programming as well as the cultural shift of viewing children's and animated programming on cable and streaming. Vortexx was replaced by One Magnificent Morning, a Saturday morning E/I block created by Hearst Media Production Group (formerly Litton Entertainment), which featured documentary, factual and lifestyle programming aimed at pre-teens and teenagers.
Vortex was the final Saturday morning programming block across all major broadcast television networks that primarily featured non-educational programming aimed at children.
How funny is that in 2002, 4Kids/Fox Box replaced Saban/Fox Kids in the SatAM game, then 10 years later, it happened vice versa with Vortexx/Saban replacing CW4Kids.
Why must this hurt me
@@NaruIchiLatino97 It's exactly like how NBC had the following changes to their SatAM routine:
1992-2002 was TNBC (shows for teens/young adults)
2002-2006 was Discovery Kids on NBC!
2006-2012 was when Scholastic/Nelvana/Big Idea took over and launched Qubo.
2012-2016 was NBC Kids (shows from Sprout)
2016-present was The More You Know (programmed by Litton Entertainment)
NBC has changed a lot over the years!!
What if Disney bought Kids WB instead of Fox Kids?
Back then I was thinking that the FoxBox would be an upgrade compared to Fox Kids but boy was I wrong. A few years later we’d get 4Kids 🤮
This is great! I thought I'd NEVER see this! I always figured Fox Kids played something special as a goodbye for the block! This is underwhelming.
Power Rangers Wild Force Moves to ABC Kids Since 2002
😊😊😊I love fox kids thank you for the morning and after school show
Technically Fox Kids became Jetix. The Fox Box aka 4Kids TV was an entirely different entity.
The day fox pulled the plug on Fox Kids.
