I see thorfin more like someone who imitates the word of God. Because "i have no enemies" is based on loving, forgiving and serving. The three things are totally far from pride which is a poison that kills us slowly and is highly promoted these days. Love is more towards humility, sacrifice and attention. Because loving, serving and forgiving require putting others above, having the courage to put God above. In fact, the development of thorfinn goes from loving the enemy, I think there was an episode in which they showed that the message comes from the bible. Since it says that loving those who love us is an easy task and does not require much effort, on the other hand, loving those who persecute you and seek to do you harm is an infinitely more difficult task and with much greater fruits.
fill your heart and content it with the word of God, it is the best decision you can make. It is a spring of wisdom. It requires us to confront ourselves, which helps us to recognize our own mistakes and faults. This is how we change and mature, not because of our capacity we are very limited and weak. That is why we have to face ourselves, fight our weakness. A good example is Thorfin, he could only recognize his mistake and the great guilt that this entails when he went through all those experiences and blessings that God allowed him to go through. Without them, not even he wanted to think of whether what he was doing was right or wrong. We change and mature not because of our ability, but thanks to God, who allows you to pass that experience, test or difficulty to recognize your failures.
