The Tokyo General Rolling Stock Center, located on a vast site next to JR Oimachi Station, consists of the east area, where the Yamanote Line depot is located, and the west area, where a huge rolling stock factory is located.
On the day of the event, there was a display of vehicles such as the E493 series, a demonstration of raising and lowering the car body, a pantograph operation experience, and the sale of railway-related goods.
In addition, the employee cafeteria was opened to the public and event participants were able to eat.
We had a great time inside the train depot, which is normally not accessible.
This video includes a demonstration of lifting and lowering the E231 series double-decker green car.

2023年8月26日に開催されました！
今年もまた開催して欲しいですよね🙆
鉄オタ選手権でもやってましたが、車両を切り離さずに点検整備出来るのは効率的で凄いなと思いました。
