I feel like this is going to be the type of playlist where someone starts a book in the comments. Like just a chain of people writing. On the shore I see people waving me on,
it’s time to go and we all know it but
I was caught in you during high tide due to my own carelessness,
so I’ll drift off, straying further from the shore,
letting you carry me for however long you want,
until eventually,
inevitably,
you spit me out on a new coast after growing tired of my taste,
tired of my weight,
and you pull someone new into your tempestuous grasp
and I’ll be left barnacled and eroded
forever seeing you in every shade of blue and green,
in the way the clouds dance weightlessly across the sky,
and the way the breeze flits across everything it touches.

I wander along the long-stretched beach, waves crashing upon each other wondering, "is there truth in what I see ahead?"

What do you see first? The sun's reflection or the moon's position. Is there point in hoping for the joy of a moment that wasn't real?
The shore has never been far from my heart building a tsunami to engulf its waking path. Do I smile or run? The moon and the sun sing a duet that is never heard, a pair to be ignored.
My love and hate.
Alright so, this has personal meaning to me. My mother always said I was her moon and my little brother was the sun. So the characters in the story will be based around me and him.
The moon sat up in the night sky as the sun watched from the ground, waiting. It was the moons job to light up the sky for everything that was awake. Tonight he was flickering, barely lighting up the clouds around him. The sun watched in worry, he cared about the moon and seeing him struggle upset him. The moons light finally shut off and he fell from the sky, plummeting to the ground. The sun rushed to catch him but he was too late. The moon hit the earth, his face shattering as pure darkness fell around the night. Only around the sun was covered in light, the moons body lay limp on the ground. The sun fell to his knees and began picking up the pieces of the moon, doing his best to put them together while tears poured from his face. As the tears hit the moon he started to glow, the pieces slowly coming back together. The sun stared in amazement as he helped the moon reform, helping him off the ground and hugging him tight. The brothers vowed to always do things together, and the sun helped the moon back in the sky, letting the moon reflect his light across the world.
The sun began to cry as he hugged his brother in the sky. "I love you.."
"I know brother, but im not going anywhere."

There’s a Brazilian song named “o sol e a lua”:”the sun and the moon” that talks about how the sun wants to marry the moon but if he does he becomes too happy and will explode but if she says no the sun will become cold and the moon doesn’t want us to die so she keeps saying she need more time to think about marrying him every time they meet.

"Of course it isn't" The sun was good at comforting, but only certain people.
"Why don't you miss it? Being alone, I mean." The moon asked
"Well, this is the only time I get to see you till next year. I would rather talk to you than be alone." The sun smiled when saying the last line, to show that they truly meant it.
"Do you ever get tired of me?" The moon asked, not because of anxiety, but because of curiosity.
"Sometimes..." The sun replied, slowly "but that's not bad. I get tired of myself sometimes. Why do you miss being alone?"
"People would talk to me, Come to me with issues, hoping for some otherworldly advice. I know they can't hear me from up here, but I try to whisper advice back. I miss being their comfort." The moon explained.

I find it beautiful how the sun and the moon are always chasing after one another, and every so often, they get to align, even if just for a few moments. The Eclipse.
We where always polar opposites. It's weird how this all played out. The girl thought looking at the girl she had fallen for. I wear warm tones, my eyes are like amber, and my hair is a volcanic red with sunburst orange. She wears dark colors, eyes a dark mysterious purple, and hair as black as the night sky. They where sitting on the roof watching the sunset. Amber looks over at Luna (I think the names should be pretty self explanatory- Amber is the sun one and Luna is the moon one.). Luna noticed Amber staring.
"What?," Luna asks.
"Just admiring your beautiful face.," Amber says smiling and leaning closer.
Luna sits in amazement. She could have never guessed, the girl she thought that was the most beautiful in the world has just said that to her. Amber holds Luna's face and it snaps her out of thought. Luna's face burning brighter than Amber's red hair. Amber and Luna lean in, and it happens. Amber pulls away with a smile on her face.
Luna is stunned but mustered out a few words, "can't believe you like me sunshine."
"So does that mean you like me back my little moon?," Amber said smirking at Luna.
Luna looked back to the sunset and said,"maybe." Smiling and still clearly blushing.
Amber smiled, put her arm around Luna, and watched the sunset with her.
(If I ever turn this into a full story I've already decided. I'm SO naming it eclipse 😶.)

Sun and Moon
One felt like nothing could break them in the slightest, singing their melodies to the world and letting the other join him when the night and silence comes. The other lets their voice be heard by the night, jolly jingles filtered with the sway of their company. They fill the night and day with music, harmony. When one gets tired the other one covers, they let the world fill with light. The moon with soft shimmers and the sun with a blast of light.
They were the opposite, yet they both sung in different ways.

"If only i could see her more often. everyday passes and i only get to see her in the morning when i have too leave, sometimes i see her during the day when i sneak a peek but she never notices. Everyone loves her, nobody appreciates me like they do to her. every once in awhile ill get a compliment but never as much as her. it makes sense, shes amazinginly beautiful, when she entres the room everyone lights up, but when i show up, everyone is practically yawning. i wish i could stay with her, i wish she would notice"

In my point of view, Listening to _MUSIC_ , is somehow a duet of the Sun & the Moon. Music rises like the Sun , or stays calm like the Moon.
One Time it's beautiful like a Ray of Sunshine, Later it's mystic , not the Stars ,not the Sun, just a shining Secret called Moon !It's eiter a Song bright as the day, or it's the melody of the Night. Its Sound either wakes you up, or guides you back to Sleep.

and in the spare moment where the sun and the moon share a blissful kiss, i can't help but envy the way they savor each other in the moment. for the moon is always chasing the sun around in the sky -- two celestial bodies that dance around even though they are thousands of light years apart.
like opposites, like star-crossed lovers, we were possibly meant to complete each other in the most tragic way. his fiery and feverish touch combusted of passion like solar flares while i pushed and pulled the ropes between us like the tidal waves that lap lazily along the cold shores. his rays would dance through the clouds with ease creating soft hues to admire through windows. and i would attempt to do the same, however i think people find the stars more fascinating than i, for they hold stories and souls and according to legends, i hold a dark side.

They is the sun, they see beautiful things and give people warmth and happiness. I am the moon, I am silent, all I see is others longing for the sun to rise again. I watch them, they never notice me. But somehow an eclipse occurs and we cross paths. And for one moment, I feel their warmth and they see my curiosity. But then they are dragged away to rise in the morning again... and once more the moon is left alone to shimmer across the path their beloved sun 💛

“Hey! Wait for me!” The sun called out to the moon.
The moon stopped and turned around to the other smiling.
“Well maybe if you were ready then you wouldn’t have any problems.”
The sun looked up from where they were occupied, glaring. “Well I didn’t _know_ that it would be _today!”_ They finished up, quickly catching up to the moon with a youthful bounce in their pace with the other with a smile on their face so bright it could light up the whole place.
Not that the moon could see it anymore, though they desperately wished they could.
“Ok, so where are we going?” The sun asked, looking up towards the taller of them with energetic curiosity that never dulls no matter how old they get.
“Well, our assignment is to go and retrieve the remaining supplies and meet up with the other members of the other cells.” He calmly replied in comparison.
The younger one titled his head, “For what?”
The man turned his blind gaze over to the boy, “To strengthen our connections and to look over some new members coming to us I believe.”
This seemed to fill the teen with excitement. “New members? Oh! That seems fun.”
“And you better not cause too much trouble and mess this up.” He tells the other, pointing an accusatory finger at him.
“Me? Do anything? Whatever could you mean?” The boy dramatically brings up a hand to his chest, offended.
The man smirked. “Nice try kid, you know exactly what I mean.”
The teen dropped his hand down to his side. “I’m hurt,” comes the devastated response.
His caretaker patiently responds, “Sure you are, now come on. War doesn’t wait, and we don’t want, _The Captain_ to be on us if we’re late.”
He can hear giggles that is his reason to keep on fighting to continue to hear them every day. “Yeah, that’s true,” His kid agrees, walking along side the man. “Though for the record, they would love my charming personality.”
The older of the two now looks down, smiling softly with a feeling full of fondness. “Anyone would.”
They walked for a bit before the boy pointed out, “Ugh, it’s so early the moons still out!” He complained.
The blind man smirked again, “Appears like even it’s more on time than you.”
“Yeah yeah.” A few more moments before, “Hey, the moon kinda matches your eyes,” His child tells him.
His father chuckles. “I guess they do.”

The young girl had laid her head down on her quiet friend's lap. The stone stairs outside the school building were uncomfortable to lay on- but her best friend's sweatpants and hoodie were a good cushion, she thought. Testing had been stressful, and not the kind of stressful people always picture when they think 'stress.' Less the hair-pulling, teeth-clenching stress of having to listen to someone who was factually incorrect, and more the heart-pumping, breath-stealing stress of trying to outrun a world that had determined your status as a failure.
The orange-haired girl began to run her fingers through the blonde's with a small hum. "Thanks for studying with me," the hoodied girl thanked softly, throat hoarse as always. "Your help meant that I didn't fail." She looked down at her blonde friend's surprised face, and wondered where she got the confidence to ever wear such tight clothes in public.
"You helped me too! How was I supposed to know all that physics stuff without you?" She frowned, poking her best friend's nose with incredulity.
"The same way I should have known my biology stuff..." She mumbled, causing her sun to laugh.
"Oh yeah, you should totally just _know_ biology."
"We have a teacher...." The moon reminded gently. "You're brilliant, you know- you shouldn't hold yourself back for your family." There was a pause at that, her best friend froze, sighing.
"You're the one in love with my brother." The ginger's face grew red, and she found herself shaking slightly,
"D- Don't just say that!" She cried out, hiding her face in her hands.
"Hah! That's just how it is, though~" The blonde sat up then, poking her moon. "I always see you wandering around him~" She laughed, causing the other girl to push her playfully.
"Just because you're not interested in people romantically doesn't give you room to tease!" She called, and the sun just laughed still.
"He'll love you, I'm sure of it. He thinks you're so bright, you know~" She encourages, pushing some hair out of the moon's face.
"Only because you're shining on me...." The girl looks away at that, pulling her wild hair into her face.
"Me? No, I'm too small to be bright like you are~"
The moon looks at her, mumbling "Only because you're so far from us..." to herself. The sun hears her, and gives her a smile.
"If I were close, I would only hurt you guys. I'm really quite mean." She warns softly, leaning back.
The moon says nothing, looking at the sun as she always does, wondering if she should say that being scorched by love is inevitable, and that she and the sun's siblings wouldn't mind so much, if the sun were the one scorching them.
Parallel lovers. Different in every way but destined and designed for each other. Crossing lines that shouldn't of existed in the first place. Breaking fates ties for something else. Something pleasantly warm. Something chocolatey bitter. Something separate from the universe as a whole. Something *them.*

That was when the sun realised just what he had done; he publicly executed the love of her life and father of her child. Begrudgingly, he agreed to her terms and walked away, hearing the heartbroken screams and sobs coming from the woman who had stolen his heart. He had hurt her and would never forgive himself.

It was warmth that I have felt when I have met you. I do not know why, I just did. Johnathan Helens the son of the baker near our street. I have never talked to him at first, I am pretty new in the town. Moving to my aunties house to take a break from university I was unaware of his presence. How to describe him hmm he is very creepy in our first encounter. A man creeping from a bush in your front yard, he is very jumpy, loud, and clumsy. It was pretty annoying at first. As time goes on though I have seen a very charming man. He is very nice, after falling through our yard and ruining my plants he gave me some cookies to pay. I did not forgive him at first slamming my door in his face when he comes by to drop the cookies he had made. But he was persistent so I let him in, now he is one of the people that makes me feel... Nice? I do not know for I am not sure.

I have met a person cold as snow I do not know who they are. They just moved in if I could remember. Black hair, length up to their shoulders. A very proper person, I was mesmerized! Seeing them the very first time, sure surprised me. Trying to get my pet dog and falling to their front yard destroying the plants that took a long time to grow. I am deeply sorry for that. I have tried everyday to say sorry they won't budge at all. Lurking around the house is what I did wanting to deliver some nice cookies that father have made. I was so sure that they would come out and accept but they didn't sadly. My poor delicious cookies are getting wasted.... But on that one rainy day they opened the door letting me in. Who would have known that they could be so warm...
