The first song... I was immediately filled with this unexplainable joy and nostalgia that I just can't explain. This was the song of my childhood. This was the song that made me sob the hardest I could for no reason in particular and made me smile my brightest smiles that came from an unnamed source. This song was pure euphoria wrapped up into a singular minute. Sixty seconds of undisturbed life being perfect. Sixty seconds of my heart fluttering uncontrollably. Sixty seconds of laughter and tears. Sixty seconds of quiet, coy, secretive smiles. Sixty seconds of helpless, harmless staring. Sixty seconds of daring flirtatiousness. Sixty seconds of playful memories. Sixty seconds of falling in love. Sixty seconds. That's all it takes. Those were the best sixty seconds of my life.
@@motherof_vermin One of my all time favorites, it's so good. The vibes, the soundtrack, the animation, the story, the voice acting, it's all just so good
This playlist took me back to my childhood, growing up in the back woods of the Appalachian mountains, when we didn't have internet, but every tree had a name, and every stone had a history. When the ghosts of my ancestors rustled the pine needles, and the squirrels beat us to the hazelnuts, every single year. The way the water gleamed on the minks that splashed in the river. I remember idly eating rosehips by the narrow road, thinking they tasted like cranberries. Hunting for wild cucumbers in the early summer, crab apples in the late summer, buckeyes in the fall. That one glorious summer when my great aunt's plum tree bore fruit, for the first and last time, with the sweetest, tartest plums, then never again, and to this day, no one can say why. Only one person ever ate those magic plums - me. Because plums were my favorite. That summer, I picked them walking home from church in the evening - one to eat on the way, and one to put in my pocket - bitten into while the sun went down, dripping onto the horsemint below the tree.

As a minor, I can only spend as much time in the forest as I can whilst growing my collection of oddities for my room makeover. I am wanting my room to make me feel like I am a witch selling potions in the middle of the forest in an old cottage. Anybody else?
POV: The morning sun was starting to peak softly behind the waking trees. A gentle mist hung a few feet off the ground, creating a peaceful and slightly ominous atmosphere. The air smells of fresh morning dew with a hint of sassafras. Your walking down a path through the slowly rising forest with a carefully woven basket scouting for mushroom and anything shiny that catches the glow of the warm sun. Birds are chirping gleefully in the distance as you come upon the end of the dirt trail; the beginning to a sleepy clearing. Over grown grass and wild flowers cover the area in a blissful blanket of beauty. Deer and elk wandered careless about the clearing, munching on berries and some of the taller flowers. The sun illuminated the area with a welcoming glow, the perfect place to enjoy a morning breakfast and make flower crowns.
Pov You walk out of your home, the afternoon sun poking through the leaves. You strech, taking a yawn. Youre still a little sleepy as you start walking, taking dramaticly large steps on the pebble road. The gurgling stream sits just ahead, and you take a preety glass bottle from your belt and fill it with the riverwater, quickly drinking all of it. You refill the bottle, this time sealing it with the cork and putting it back on your belt. Crouching down, you catch water on your hands, splashing it on your face. You blink, once, twice, and squeeze them back, until your visoin clears. You wander into the forest, and find a clearing with a tree stump. Happily skipping to the site, you notice a shiny shard of glass. You dont try to resist the urge to grab it and put it in your pocket. You are just a happy goblin in the woods after all. You hurry back to the clearing and sit on the stump, pulling out a foraged mushroom and happily eating. All is good, you are just a goblin afterall.
The first song slapped me back to my childhood. Getting lost in the woods by my house in germany, looking up into the summer sky and watching the clouds pass by through the tree canopy, sitting on fallen trees and watching the bugs and creatures fly by, crawl over the rotting bark. Digging holes into the ground, we made small caves enough to fit a handful of kids, using old rubbish we found, especially that large dish we found and packed with twigs and leaves until it was comfy. And going back the next day when it wet, oh my god. We would be covered in dirt and mud, but our small tunnel was so structurally sound it was amazing. The fallen tree above us was like our lookout post. It was our own hide away deep in the forest. I miss those days. It's been 16 years since those times in the woods. I really miss those warm summer days.

There is a world somewhere where it rains every week, the trees grow tall and mushrooms are in abundance. Everyone lives a simple life, though it is no less rewarding or splendid. Personally, my house lies between the roots of an old oak and I would be ever so pleased if you joined me there. Of course, you would have to do your fair share of foraging, I would find it difficult to pick enough berries for the both of us. This playlist and all the songs gave me an unimaginable amount of serotonin and euphoria. Not to mention nostalgia and deja vu, like I’ve been here before even though I haven’t. Maybe in another life. It’s calming and it touches my soul. I’m not sure how to explain it, but these are all going to be my favourite songs for a while. “This above all: to thine own self be true” -Shakespeare
Geez, Woodland gives me such good vibes for no reason. Just comforting. I used to listen to it last year, and yeah… my favorite song aside from Helena, I’d say.
I like the picture because one of the things I collect is pinecones :) My friend noticed that I collect them and realized that the reason I kept giving him some was because I was showing my love and appreciation for him and now he gives me pinecones sometimes. He found a LEGO Demogorgan keychain from Stranger Things in the schoolyard the other day and he gave it to me. It’s in my treasure chest now. My friend is cool. He deserves millions of pinecones!
Gremiln where I come from is a commonly used slang term used when friends are making fun of each other or "slaging" each other in a lighthearted banter way ,for example if I were to mess with my friend and they become slightly annoyed they would say "you're a little gremlin" gremiln meaning annoying or irritating ,mischievous but in a funny way
I always say I don't have a specific taste in music, yet when i need to surround myself with, like, im not sure how to describe it (maybe hopeful nostalgia?). Anyway, I always find myself being drawn back to this kind of music. Its just so gentle and understanding. Like it truly just exists and I think that's special.

So calming 🍄✨
Listening to this playlist made me realise that yes I was weird and emo but those 2 years were one of my happiest moments. (2020-2022)
Being weird and emo is the best, 17 and still weird and emo and I probably will be for a long time. It's the best feeling to just not give a fuck and that's why it makes us happy
why did the first song make me tear up oh my g never have i felt so calm thank you sm for making this hssshssgywhWAAAAAAAAAAA
“This above all: to thine own self be true”
-Shakespeare
That first one gives me so much serotonin!!!!
thanks to you, I found a new song that I love so much!
Geez, Woodland gives me such good vibes for no reason. Just comforting. I used to listen to it last year, and yeah… my favorite song aside from Helena, I’d say.
i heard the Fantastic Mr. Fox song and immediately smiled lol
thank you for this
Just what I needed 🍄
Ah, the memories. I used to watch Mr. Fantastic Fox all the time!
i miss my childhood..
this playlist has been on list while do work for the last week
I like the picture because one of the things I collect is pinecones :)
My friend noticed that I collect them and realized that the reason I kept giving him some was because I was showing my love and appreciation for him and now he gives me pinecones sometimes. He found a LEGO Demogorgan keychain from Stranger Things in the schoolyard the other day and he gave it to me. It’s in my treasure chest now. My friend is cool. He deserves millions of pinecones!
Gremiln where I come from is a commonly used slang term used when friends are making fun of each other or "slaging" each other in a lighthearted banter way ,for example if I were to mess with my friend and they become slightly annoyed they would say "you're a little gremlin" gremiln meaning annoying or irritating ,mischievous but in a funny way
This makes my inner child and goblincore phase go 🍄☕🍂📜🌑🍃☀️🐌✨

SO CUTE OMG🐝🍄
I always say I don't have a specific taste in music, yet when i need to surround myself with, like, im not sure how to describe it (maybe hopeful nostalgia?). Anyway, I always find myself being drawn back to this kind of music. Its just so gentle and understanding. Like it truly just exists and I think that's special.
