This is a very relevant question.
Particularly in the context of South African law where there is a presumption of innocence (until all facts are verified to prove otherwise).
The interviewer then suggests that a presumption of guilt without a court process is somehow acceptable because, as the interviewer puts it, "perhaps the country has such alarming levels of sexual violence."
As if that is an acceptable approach to seeking justice.
At most, this is irresponsible and, at least, disingenuous of the interviewer.
The point I'm making isn't to say that this man is innocent.
I don't know that.
What I am saying is that to allow a person's life and reputation to be sullied without due process, purely because someone says so, and further inferred by suggestive questions "as if" what is being alleged is 'true' is unacceptable.

@@PeloRatau yes I would say the same if it was a lady. By saying Mo needs to heal, I was in no way invalidating his hurt but rather it came from a place of understanding that he is really hurt. Perhaps I should have phrased it differently.
