Do Juanita Perez doll have marks on their backs or necks? I found a doll at the thrift store that looks similar to a Juanita perez doll. She has three painted lashes, very hard vinyl, and the face paint matches what you describe. However, she has brown hair and brown eyes. I know these dolls could have that color, but that seems less common. Oh! The only thing she was wearing was a little white pair of panties. Anyway, if you could let me know if the dolls were marked by the maker all the time, sometimes or not at all, that would help me. She might be just an old tourist doll, but I've got some curiosity about this doll I found.
Love your Juanitas! Question, do your new Juanitas have glitter on their lips? I'm thinking thats a more recent thing -- both of my modern girls have glitter.
Mine don't, I bought them in 2010, but I have noticed that a lot of the newer dolls have glitter on the lips. These 3 modern ones of mine don't though. Do you like the glitter? Trying to decide if I should get one 🤔
Muñecas, Poupees, and Dolls I love the mold they used on the ones around 2010 & their eyes look like they have real depth! I've been trying to scout out for one but I'm trepedacious and unaware of how to order of el mercado libre lol from the girls I have I really love my blonde Juanita with the glitter lips. It suits her coloring and the glitter is placed perfectly. With my other Juanita, while I don't mind it I feel she would look better without it. You should def get a new one though -- Monica from their offices was super helpful and even allowed us to switch outfits around a doll so we were sure we were getting the perfect Juanita :)
I have a new source for JP stuff, there is a Facebook store called El Baul Del Abuelo that I have ordered from twice and they are very nice. They sell used toys and items and often have a lot of JP stuff.
I'm looking them up and they have really good stuff even Lily Ledy Babaras (Mexico's answer to barbie lol) ! I'm really going to have to hold myself back lol
