Yeah you can AoE with Arcane explosion, Flamestrike, CoC and Goblin Sapper for speedrunning those bosses with ~30sec kills but that’s actually a whole different build
Trying to decide between the PvP single target frost and the Frost dungeon build for leveling. They both seem pretty similar but maybe the dungeon build is more well rounded?
Frost dungeon build is strictly for dungeons & AoE, PvP you’d probably want to pick up slightly different talents for example improved counter spell and frostbite. I haven’t touched on PvP since ranking/BGs aren’t open yet but yeah when PvP is out definitely have a Frost PvP spec. It’s likely you’ll be able to raid as fire for majority of the bosses so could always swap to Frost PvP for Baron, Rag & Onyxia :)

Thanks mate, UD is best for PvP for sure, Mage can beat everything but our biggest threats are Lock & Priest so the racial really helps for those fights
So far only one mage has gone fire but in that example you can see he did 2x the damage of the frost mages in raid. Fire will generally do more DPS but it’s a pain to carry 2 sets of gear and 2 specs etc just to play it. I actually made a video about how I got mine but I was very lucky. I’d recommend running ZF and/or Mara solo as a mage, you’ll get the gold within a day :)
