+horse_fetus Vader's are generally small. Made to be ergonomic and damn near weightless. A chamber bodied one weighs in at like 3 lbs if I remember correctly. But they probably still are serial crushin those guitars like some huge friggin guy.

Kiesel is all custom. Expect 1500-2000 for what they are playing
What gauge string you guys use.been trying to find a good set up for drop c for a while.. Action looks pretty low on those guitars yet note still ring clear...
52-9 custom set is what I use for C.

I really like this song. In the first 50 seconds I feel like I hear a lot of stylistic, tonal, and rhythmic parallels to Planetary Duality by The Faceless. Were you guys inspired by that at all?
Such a strange guitar tone... It's great, but there's something different I can't really put my finger on. What gear do you use?
truthfully I'm not crazy about. where some people need to dial the gain back, I feel like they need to turn it up a bit to get that bite out of it.
They used an Axe FX XL+. I personally think the tone is great. Smooth Nad aggressive at the same time. The Randall Thrasher is way too harsh and ice picky for what these guys are playing IMHO.

its not really the tone
its the fact its quantized so that it makes it sound kinda robotic/mechanical
similar to new within the ruins/rings of saturn etc.

I guess they were playing on some Revv amp or some, i try to have a similar tone with the Crunch canal from a 6505+ Peavey and a boost, i avoid the lead canal.

The vocal thing at 1:16 totally sounds like btbam, they do almost the exact same thing in All Bodies off Alaska. The synth arpeggio stuff right after sounds like it too.
