I am waaaaaayyyyy to excited for Galaxy's Edge. I've always loved Star Wars and even though i'm barely 18, I still grew up on 4, 5, and 6. So to see this super immersive land and for Disney to understand that this land will be FULL of nerds, it will awesome to see the super micro-details that Disney is putting in for immersion.
I know right? It would be cool though if when you get to the entry points if you could exchange $ for Credits and other Star Wars currency so that the prices could be more Star Wars like. And I guarantee you that within the first hour there will be several lightsaber duels going on, hopefully there will be a space to duel or at least duels in non crowded areas won't be stopped.
it would be cool if there was a first order section and a resistance section and if you were in the first order secrion with a light saber or resistance clothing the stormtroopers would point you out in the crowds and aim their blasters at you and the same thing would happen if you were in the resistance area as a stormtrooper or with a red light saber
They kind of did stuff like this at Hollywood studios at DisneyWorld if you were around the StarWars museum where some storm troopers would patrol. I also agree that this would be very cool if they did this though.
I think something along those lines will happen. They mentioned that you will get a “reputation” depending on what you do on the rides and how you use the Disney play app.
My wife and I are going to WDW in September, and we can not wait to see all of this. Your videos on Galaxies Edge have made me realized I should start working more overtime for the amount of money we are going to spend. The clippies next to the nippies on the First Order officer's shirt are rank cylinders (aka code cylinders aka access cylinders), basically electronic employee id's that grant access to rooms/parts of ships, depending on your rank. The First Order rank bands have names of famous units and heroes of the Galactic Civil War in Aurebesh, except the top one with the double black and silver, which is the band for Generals. Going down we've got "Tarkin" which is the band for a Major, "Dillon" which is the band for a Captain, and "Hal 4" which is the band for a Squad Leader.

Wish they sold stormtrooper guns like the E-11 but still I can just buy them from nerf instead And wished they had made a kylo Ren mask with a good voice changer.
I think it would be amazing if they made a Blaster Building Station much like Droid Depot and Savi's. But the main downside is that security would have to be stricter, since hiding a real gun is probably easy in a toy gun.

Omg can’t wait G.E is sooooo exiting to look at!!!! Also a cool thing to talk about on the channel is the galactic dessert party it is so cool and the closest you can get to living in Star Wars (until G.E) great for party’s birthday,anniversary, etc. but definitely if you want to look into it I go to wdw because I live in SC idk if they have it at Disney land but yeah I went to it. So, a few things. First, the metal things on the First Order are called code cylinders. They're basically USB drives containing passcodes for certain doors, computers, and other devices. Of course, your rank would determine which ones you would have(Tarkin would've had ones General Veers wouldn't, who would have ones a typical, rank-and-file officer wouldn't, etc.) I think I saw in Rebels they were used in the same wall ports that R2-D2 would always interact with, but I could be wrong. (The collection of circles on the wall that he'd spin left and right until they lined up). And then onto the things Disney has banned: I kind of get both. It's a bummer on the costumes at the park, but I think I get it, just don't know *why* they did that: my guess is either so guests aren't mistaken for staff/entertainers, or so that if someone causes troubke at the parks, they don't have a mask obscuring their face, preventing them from being I.D.'ed in security footage. Now, I get why they aren't selling blasters, but there has to be a better way to do it than just "No blasters for sale, anywhere, at all." Given how much of a series staple they are, it'd be nice if they still had some for those kids wanting to play as Han or Padme, or really anyone who doesn't have a lightsaber, because chances are if a character doesn't use a lightsaber, they use a blaster. But I can see how it's hard to sell blasters when kids are using actual guns in schools today.

Dano I just recently started watching you but now I can’t stop I love the vids but do you think they will have Jedi kids costumes that may be in the resistance vid coming up but if not then I’m sure when Disneyland G.E opens up I can see but if you know just reply plz. Honestly, you might be right about the Officer Uniform. Having bought an Imperial version, it cost around $130, and considering something in the park is official, and complete, around $180.
I didn't know if you knew this but Star Wars is doing a colabration with FRC Robotics. In 2019 and 2020!!!!!!! I was super excited when I found your channel because of all the Star Wars content. Thanks for your videos and keep up the hard work.

Stuff all looked pretty cool, my choice for costumes in park would be no specific characters (so no Ray or Han) but generic characters with no masks maybe. I think it would be cool and emersive to wear clothes that fit the universe like a first order officer, generic jedi\sith and resistance troopers. To solve the cast member confusion many give them a distinctive outfit that people can't wear.

I don't know of the first order works the same way as the empire, but according to rebels the little capsules on officer's uniforms are their clearance codes and officer ranking that they can plug into doors to have Access to areas or whatever. I think storm troopers store theirs in their utility belts.
i walk with a cane so i hope they let us dress up because i wanna wander around with palpys cane and cape...have the emporers laugh on my phone and play it anytime someone gets too close. extra points for palpy on a jazzy!

it's actually a Beatles jacket i found at wal-mart back in like December for like $25 bucks, I made a stencil of the starbird and used my airbrush to make the large backpatch. Then I scoured the internet for punk/star wars patches. I grew up in the punk scene, and still listen to a lot of 90's skate punk and early 2000's punk ska music and it still influences how I dress even at 35. I show some pics of how I put the jacket together on my instagram @danoflorez

If the First Order uniform is from Anovos, and is the full costume, probably looking at $600. Will depend on how close a replica to the movie costumes they are. Also basing it off the price of the Imperial officer uniform that used to be available at Launch Bay.
Disney Parks stopped selling blasters and toy guns, years ago. Blame crazy active shooters,not to get too political but research the history of shootings here in America and see what side of the political spectrum the shooters almost always come fall on and do what you can to vote down that party and remove that insane ideology from our country. It’s slowly ruining everything. Ok vague political rant over... 😁
I am really eager to go and see what Galaxys Edge is like but I do fear that I will have a little to high expectation on how inmersive it will be. My dream is that you can walk around and like talk to CMs dressed as officers and resistance members more than just being able to watch animatronics and play some games in the parks. I love interactive theatre so thus I feel more when its real people behind the costumes rather than fancy robots and voiceovers. Johan.
Yeah, I share that same fear. And I don’t know if it’s it’s more of a help to try and educate others to be more into it. I feel like the least immersive part will be these off-worldwide tourists who wear funny hats and ask silly questions about parades and character meet and greets. But I’m also not wanting to build everyone’s expectations up so high and then have us all be let down. I really do have high hopes for this.
The Dan-O Channel I has a couple of funny hats thats merch from shows here in sweden so I can fel into that category if y like. :) and as long as y are nice and polite it never hurt to ask, specially when y try to find youre way around abcity size park y visited once in the 90ties. But I want ask y when the 3 o clock parade is. :) but character meet and greet are a huge thing for me since I love musicals and interactive theatre. And meeting characters are like the ultimate combo of that. Thats why I love Cos Play to.
So correct me if i'm wrong, but I remember them saying something about being inbetween first order and the rebels kinda like a scav or junker of sort as far as the "factions" go at galaxies edge.
im a fan of stormtroopers n clone troopers so these doesnt excite me as much but still cool...also blackspire outpost sounds like a location name in world of warcraft
Ur question on the action figure in the multipack that u didn't know, could be answered by the patch in the top row of a trooper helmet. Different looking helmet from regular TFA & TLJ troopers. Never know!

Disney Parks stopped selling blasters and toy guns, years ago. Blame crazy active shooters,not to get too political but research the history of shootings here in America and see what side of the political spectrum the shooters almost always come fall on and do what you can to vote down that party and remove that insane ideology from our country. I am really eager to go and see what Galaxys Edge is like but I do fear that I will have a little to high expectation on how inmersive it will be. My dream is that you can walk around and like talk to CMs dressed as officers and resistance members more than just being able to watch animatronics and play some games in the parks. I love interactive theatre so thus I feel more when its real people behind the costumes rather than fancy robots and voiceovers. Johan.
Yeah, I share that same fear. And I don’t know if it’s it’s more of a help to try and educate others to be more into it. I feel like the least immersive part will be these off-worldwide tourists who wear funny hats and ask silly questions about parades and character meet and greets. But I’m also not wanting to build everyone’s expectations up so high and then have us all be let down. I really do have high hopes for this.
The Dan-O Channel I has a couple of funny hats thats merch from shows here in sweden so I can fel into that category if y like. :) and as long as y are nice and polite it never hurt to ask, specially when y try to find youre way around abcity size park y visited once in the 90ties. But I want ask y when the 3 o clock parade is. :) but character meet and greet are a huge thing for me since I love musicals and interactive theatre. And meeting characters are like the ultimate combo of that. Thats why I love Cos Play to.
