- Thanks for watching the latest additions to my van conversion, Brunswick!! These last few weeks have been a flurry of little bits of progress; I’ve been trying to fit build-time in whenever I can. Y’all- can I please just quit my full-time job and do this all the time already? 😂 That would be the dream 🤞
In this video, I show my progress with the flooring, the walls, the ceiling, my modified desk, adding shore power, and more! I hope you will feel like you are hanging out with Teller and me while we build our home in this no-commentary conversion series.

Hi Milo & Teller! The new home is coming along nicely. Documenting your progress is so inspiring for Van Dreamers. Your designs are wonderful! We travel a great deal in our 18’ trailer with two mini-foxhounds and have worried any time we’ve left them alone at all. Loving the look of your van. Teller's as sweet as always.
Looking fantastic so far Milo, keep up the great work. One word of advice if I may, when drilling steel… low speed high pressure is the way to go. If you spin at a high rpm the bit tends to skip and will dull very quickly. Use a lot of downward pressure and spin the drill much slower and it will be far more efficient and cut faster 🙂

Cool Temperature tech with that Waggle device.
It's coming along great! Check into getting some "quick clamps" from Harbor Freight or any other discount store. They are super helpful when it comes to holding things in place when working on a project by yourself. It's like having more arms. Well, not really, that would be weird. But they are useful for holding things in place while drilling and cutting and glueing by yourself.
I can barely glue paper dolls together much less BUILD out a van. Great job Milo 🤙

As for Waggle, I don't have a pet but I plan on getting that to place in my battery compartment so I can keep them in the best condition during the highs and lows while traveling. Thanks!
That's a great use for the Waggle!! I have also been using it to make sure my batteries stay warm enough as the weather here starts to dip below freezing. Thanks for watching!! :)

Thank you!! I am using 3M Thinsulate for insulating this van. I am a big fan, it is so easy to install and has been doing an excellent job of regulating the temperature in the van!
Here is the roll I bought for this size van (136" WB), and it was *almost* enough, just needed a little bit extra to finish off.

The floor looks really good. But when we build houses we leave a gap towards all the walls since wood can expand when the temperature or moisture changes. Won’t that be an issue in a van?

What were those metal clamps and tool that you used to secure the bed frame? I haven’t seen that before.
I used a Rivet Nut Tool to put M8 Rivet Nuts into the metal framing of the van, then used IKEA support beams & brackets to create the bed frame! I'll link the tools & hardware I used :)
