They are gorgeous and Laci Fay is the perfect model, replete with flattering accessories. A couple of things l remember from that period are crinolines, and dusters (or smocks) worn over a pretty dress while doing housework or cooking/baking.

I was born in 1948.....so I grew up in the 50's & 60's. The turquoise striped dress looks familiar. We love watching shows & movies that take place in the late 20's, 30's, 40's . The clothes were gorgeous & so classy. Everyone wore hats. I love hats ! I remember dressing up for Sunday School & wearing dress gloves. It's just how things were done then! My dad had a wonderful long, dress coat & he wore a nice hat. Oh, those were the days.

My grandma saved everything ❤ plus thrifting back then was the BEST!! Now I'm a bit too fat, but I'd be willing to workout to wear vintage again!!! Thank you for the inspiration 💗🌻🧡🌼🌹💗

The blue dress at about 11.19min is absolutely amazing, especially with the black details, well done !! I liked most of them, but that one is just over all the others! Well, maybe the dress is simple, but the way you wear it and accessorized it, it's just 10/10 !

In the early to mid sixties I wore the Jonathan Logan lines of clothes that was my to go to close at that time I don't even know what Jonathan Logan is selling designer they sell design I know that they were the bomb at one time
I'd love to live in a vintage modern neighborhood where we could join to drink a cup of tea with our retro/vintage outfits/ hair/makeup... and living modern lifes. I mean, I loove the aesthetic, but I love this nowadays freedom to choose whatever you want to do and be🌸 (At least where I live)

I worked at a vintage shop in the 1980's, where we sold 1940's dresses for about $40 and 1950's day dresses for about $25. Your haul brings back so many good memories! Fast forward to 2020. Imagine my shock when I find the selfsame dresses from the 1950's and 40's priced from $150 and up. And UP!! The kinds of prices we sold Victorian and Deco gowns for 🤔 I can see why your neighbors with the literal goldmine of vintage clothing would call you over to assess 🤗
How fun was this?!!! I'm partial to 40s and 50s style but all the dresses were amazing. Did have a couple of favorites, however, the plaid dress for fall and the 1940s Frances Dexter. Laci, you have brought ladyship back in style, I was beginning to think it was a lost art. Since I am vintage, will be 64 this month, I so appreciate your passion for such stylish era's. Don't ever lose that passion it, makes you unique.
I loved the blue striped 40's dress. I am addicted to stripes. Also love that your cats want to help. Now that I teach from home, my cat insists on helping with my classes.
It's amazing to me the difference in color from the close-up views and the view across the room. Half the time I can't really tell the color until you come close, and some things looked entirely blue when they were green, grey when they were blue, etc. What a haul! That lady must have been your exact size, so much of it fits you perfectly.
I've just barely started the video but your kitty circling you for attention reminds me a lot of my cat. Felix my fur son sits on my phone when my morning alarm goes off in the morning and expects cuddles anytime I'm home 💜

My favorite dress from the Hoarder House and Frugal Family Farm wás the navy blue dress with the white buttons down the front. Also, another favorite dress was the rainbow dot print that needed repair work.
