L'Unica interprete ideale di questa bella opera innovativa che tanto clamore (positivo) suscitò quando fu rappresentata per la prima volta! Montserrat riesce a far suo questo fantastico personaggio belliniano, specie nella finale preghiera-invettiva "Or sei pago o ciel tremendo" che tanta fatica comportò al librettista per trovare infine il testo finale che potesse accontentare l'esigente Compositore! Una opera che meriterebbe di essere proposta più frequentemente dai Teatri lirici.
