This is a beautiful song. It makes me think of people who listen to voicemails or messages from loved ones who have passed away, as a way of coping with the loss. This is a beautiful song. It makes me think of people who listen to voicemails or messages from loved ones who have passed away, as a way of coping with the loss. The lyrics "Call me back, called me back, I left a message for you, even though you can't." transported me to a place where I would imagine conversations I would have with my parents now that I'm an adult. The way you sing this song it almost sounds like someone who is on the verge of tears. I realize that may not be the message in this song, but we all interpret songs in our own way. Thank you.

I really hope she owns that IP still, but presume not, given how labels and Simon's shows all feel about everyone's IP [It's MINE, it's all MINE!] The music industry is infamous for draconian contracts, seizing IP and never letting it go, and ruinous loan interest rates for the famous 'advance' a label will 'give' a new artist. Then again, Taylor Swift is certainly demonstrating how to recover, and her Swifties are cooperating madly with her plans.
