This song is right up there with the best of the ADTR and has been on repeat all day! My body is sitting at my grown up desk job wasting away, but my mind is right there in the F-ing mosh pit!
I enjoy this song in particular not because I'm a ADTR fan; but rather because it addresses the darkness within each of us. Whether we ignore it, embrace it, or use it to our own ends; all of us as human beings harbor a dark side. This song allows me to relate to the band as humans through that medium.
They don't stick to one style. Jeremy has stated that he likes to make music he would listen to, regardless of genre. That's why every single one of their albums has multiple styles in each.
He holds back a lot to save his voice. He's actually a lot better than what you see in a lot of shows because he's saving his voice, plus jumping around and stuff to hype the crowd. I'll be the first to admit that he's far from the best vocalist though, and this is coming from a huge ADTR fanboy.
