Duchess of Cambridge Makes Chicken Wrap During Visit to Cafe in Aberdeen

- The Duchess of Cambridge has visited a cafe run by homelessness charity Social Bite. Kate, known as the Countess of Strathearn while in Scotland, heard from staff, customers and volunteers at the venue in Aberdeen, which provides jobs to people who have been homeless.
Staff member Matt Thomas, who was homeless five years ago but now works in the cafe full-time and has a permanent home, showed her how to make a chicken wrap, joking: "You can come back and help me tomorrow."

Eva Harowski Catherine, on reflection always knew she joined this family for the long-term. I never disliked her, but, I often critiqued what I saw as her lack of character. I believed her parents had done well to ‘engineer’ their family into the high echelons of society. I wanted her to have worked, to have done something with her life prior to ‘waiting’ for William to pop the question. I have nevertheless always believed she would make a very good Consort.
Now against the current back drop, I have revisited my earlier assumptions. What I can see, is what I mistook as lack of character, was actually a shyness and perhaps fear of getting it wrong. She was allowed to find her footing, she never charged in like a bull in a china shop, but slowly found out what was expected of her. Now, as a result of recent occurrences, she has had to come out of the ‘shadows’, her respect for HM and the RF has impressed me. I can say, well done Catherine. She is a slow burner and her glow is becoming brighter each day. ☺️🇬🇧

Much respect to Catherine. She has taken time to learn her craft. She was shy and her true personality didn’t come through at first. Now we can really see the true person and she has gained so much in confidence. A wonderful ambassador for our country and always upbeat and happy. She manages to execute a very difficult job with a charming approach.

Totaminel Baum-Rolf Well of course there is an element of ‘acting’...we all employ similar techniques when meeting people for the first time: for example prospective in laws, new work colleagues. We cannot often be our true selves in the public domain as we do in the privacy of our own families.
As much as she can be with two cameras in her face, she is being respectful, considerate and enjoying the time spent with these people who are doing rewarding work. This visit means so much to that establishment. ☺️🇬🇧

Mira Leonard Catherine has toned legs and arms from exercise. She is not anorexic or ill. She managed to get pregnant three times despite being so slender.

It’s amazing she has been able to get used to all those cameras and people taping her. I was uncomfortable just watching and hearing the incessant shutter clicks. Good on her for putting up with it.

Is it just me or are her and William doing a lot more engagements than normal? I read somewhere that she is working 16 hour days? Having to take on more since Harry left? I hope she's given time to rest and relax. She's a gem.
The number is increasing. However I think it was always part of the long-term plan. Once William left active service in the military & spent 2 years working for the air ambulance service in Kent it was inevitable they would start to take on more duties & engagements - especially as Her Majesty winds down her engagements. They also now have 2 school-age children which frees up some more time. I think Catherine has always been active behind the scenes of the Royal Foundation but now she is taking on a more public role.
I think the way this has been handled was a great plan by the Royal Family - time to allow them to have a family & spend value & vital early time with their children & also allow Catherine room to develop her particular interests & find her confidence as a public speaker. It's a luxury the Queen never had becoming monarch at a young age.
When The Sussex's departed at the beginning of the working year,they left 100's of Royal Engagements(why the Sussex's thought they were unpopular beats me🙄) ..So as well as their own Engagements they have taken up the Sussex's as well..I think everyone is pretty happy to see Catherine😊❤❤
