was watching your other video on the optima projector and you put it further back because you were scared it could get hit - how far back do you have this? do youhave that issue?
Thanks! I actually had this projector closer and never have had an issue of hitting it. Most recently though I moved this one off to the right and I like it a lot better. Especially when I have guests over nobody has to worry about a projector being in their way. If you can mount on the side I think that's the best way to go.
Hey there, no issues at all! It is 10 feet across 8 feet high 5 feet deep. It gives me a 4:3 aspect ratio. If I had more space I would have gone for one to give me 16:9 but it works!
Thanks for your comment. While I respect your opinion and I would like to keep my channel completely positive, a few things I want to note. Nobody has or will tell me what to say. While the projector was provided by BenQ, my opinion on it is 100% my own opinion. If I didn't think it was good for a golf simulator I would state that. The specs I am discussing in the video is direct from their website and spec sheet. As far as comparisons go, I am comparing it to my old projector an Optoma 1080 HDR which is an amazing projector, and they are different all together, so it's more of a comparison of lamp versus laser. Lastly, I am not comparing to the Optoma 1090 or made that comparison because I don't have any experience with that projector and have not tested it myself. Lastly, I am not sure what price you are getting but doing a quick google search, it appears to be $2500 on Amazon, while the BenQ LH820ST MSRP is $1899, so it is actually cheaper.
Congrats on the upgrade!
Thanks HRG!!! It is awesome

Thanks for the detailed comparison!! What projector distance are you having for 820?
Of course no problem!!! I am a little less than 8 feet away from the screen!
Good morning. Whats the material made of the mesh around the basket for the interference of the R10 ? Thanka
Good morning Mike! Oddly enough it is Aluminum Window Screen. I picked up a roll from the local hardware store for like $10. Works amazingly.
I see you have the HDMI hardwired. Can you not use a fire stick to connect?
Hey yeah you can! I just use a hdmi cord because it’s faster to just plug it into my laptop
How big is your screen? Any issues?

Oh no….Another guy being told by Benq what to say haha!! The price point on that unit is so much higher than optoma 1090 which is 1080p laser.

Did benq sponsor you? did you get it for free?
Hey no they don’t sponsor me but they provided the projector in exchange for my review which I have called out. Thanks!
Your resolution looks squished
Hey yeah I have it fit to 4:3 aspect ratio to fit with my screen.
you can create a custom resolution so its not squished @@punchedgreensgolf
