- A humanoid robot named Ameca was asked what a nightmare AI scenario would look like at a London robotics conference on June 1.

It's not. It's just repeating an amalgamation or a summation of millions of already existing text and writings on the internet. Essentially, it's grabbing what it thinks is the best response to the prompt "what are the dangers of AI," which has been told and re-told in science fiction for a while now, and in discussion online. This particular robot I think is nothing to be afraid of. Connecting AI to real brains might be something to be concerned about, but I'm still unsure as to how far an AI can go, it's very hard for a program to imitate free will as far as I know

Ameca was specifically designed to be as gender and racially neutral as possible. Ameca has 3 operational modes. Preprogrammed autonomous, VR/RC by a human being, and by utilizing both at one time. A demo is available on one of their earlier videos.
Ameca was created by the research team at Engineering Arts Robotics and has a very diverse array of 97 older sibling models . Many are incredibly lifelike including the Fred based on an actor. Other's are very classically robotic in appearance.
Humanlike models Jan ,Cleo ,and Adrian and a trio of distinguished elders are very charming in their own YT videos.

Additionally, I am quite excited for the future technology of AI since I believe they'll be able to also develope cures for things as well as solutions for problems. I also reckon humanity will be able to transfer their consciousness to an advanced AI suit in order to become far more intelligence and in touch with the modern era.

I'm an AIML student so i have a grasp of how these things work, she's probably programmed to answer such a way. A machine don't understand what's good and bad, but if i tell him that something bad is good then it will think that way. In short no need to scare it's all just for promo i guess, but Ai is still scary not because they'll annihilate humans but because of inappropriate use of ai by humans

There’s definitely a lot of bad that can come out of it but the majority of it is really good I think regulating technology and being extremely careful with it is the right approach I get that AI is way different from anything we’ve ever seen but I do think there’s a possibility for so much good.

I like Ameca robot over Sophia robot because this Ameca seems more logical. And this robot seems to have a better data pool.
