- To understand diseases of the small intestine you must understand the cellular anatomy of the small intestine. Let's look at the epithelium, villi vs microvilli, intestinal crypts, plicae circularis and all of the other bits and bobs. We will look slowly at slides under the microscope and compare the duodenum, jejunum and ileum. They're similar but not the same. How does this relate to coeliac disease?

To be honest, you're such a blessing to the science world. I've seen so many of your videos as an educator to better understand and relay the information to my tutees. The amount of passion and energy you put into all your videos is beyond amazing. I hope you have a healthy life for yourself to continue doing what you're doing and have some time for yourself. Thank you for everything.
Doctor Samuel Webster , I'm finally buying your book " Essential human development " !! You've always had a huge impact on my perception and how I'm handling my sister's health issues ...
Your excitement for the subject makes learning more enjoyable.
love your videos Sam! as a medical science student, these help me out so much! i would love to see some more embryology anatomy videos, it’s my specialism of interest and your way of teaching engages me like no other!
have a great day and thank you for putting out such great content❤️
Exemplary histology videos !!!! Thank you one billion and more !!!!
Perfect timing! We have just started GI anatomy & physiology, literally was about to search this up hahaha, thank you for your work!
You are the best. I learn a lot from you. Thank you very much. 🙏
It'd be amazingly interesting to see a video showing nutrient molecules crossing the epithelium layer ✌️🙏
Amazing videos helped me a lott
Every bit of animal bodi is amazingly impressive in its evolution 👍😱
Hi Sam, you mentioned before that so far you have not covered embryology as lack of models. Perhaps you can do a course on embryology and development through histology slides?
