This man has helped insire a generation of Namibians by showing us that it is possible to reach the top of the sport even though we a such a small rugby country.

Every tackle was a full arm wrap. Might have been a strong tackle but fair every time
I feel like there aren’t many players like him anymore that are genuinely terrifying

There have been plenty with greater bulk behind their tackling but kilo for kilo? I’d say Berger was the best. 50% great technique; 50% just sheer courage. All thoughts about the tackle; zero thought about personal safety.

Great tackler but Joe Worsley was better. More technical whilst Burger would put in the showreel big hits.
