If you go to the side streets in Harajuku there are some fantastic vintage shops. I got a top I love to death from a bargain rack outside for just 300 yen! And a nice handbag for 2000, and lovely vintage pink dress for 3500.

I went alone for 2 weeks and it was np at all. If you do your research on public transportation (including bullet train) then you're golden. However if you're a girl I hear you should excersize more caution than a man would. Still, it's probably one of the safest countries in the world
Harajuku can be fun but trust me as someone who’s lived in Japan that place is so crowded ALL THE TIME. The place was crowded before but now, thanks to tourists, sometimes you can barely move

I passed that crêpe shop but I had my grepe somewhere else because Santa Monica crêpes had a long line

@@Y0ur_favourite_brunette how many years till you're 20? I'm in the same boat, I'm currently 21 and I want to spend the next two years learning Japanese and saving money. After 2-3 years once I'm fluent in speaking Japanese, and have the savings I want to move to Japan for a year or so, maybe longer if I really like it there.

mainstream harajuku places, tbh not that worth it. there are so many smaller streets and surrounding area with cool cafes and vintage shops that have the best design and less people as well (Harajuku is always crowded) takeshita-dori is overrated
