What did I find in an old advertising guys files?

- This week I am sorting through papers that I got at a garage sale from a guy who used to do advertising back in the 50s and 60s and the box also had a lot of really cool photos. Come see what I found! You just never know what’s gonna cross your path when you get a box like this.

Tonight’s haul was a blast from my youth in the 60’s and 70’s. The cars, the stuff from northern Canada (I lived in Yellowknife for 4 years and had family in Watson Lake) to the Radio Shack catalogue. A fun look back.😊

Such great photos and advertising that will make great lots for collectors and crafters! The junk journal crafters won’t mind the cut-outs and the paste marks add to the look.
Thanks for watching Julie! Unfortunately, it was a full garbage bag full of the damaged stuff and not something I want to sell so it will be recycled. I was happy with the stuff I sorted out through but wanted to show the real process with this sort of haul. Not everything is sellable...that is part of the process. :)
I love all the photos, they all seem very similar to the ones in my own family. Someone will love these.

I had an aunt and uncle who had a bathroom fully outfitted in purple! And they kept it pristine and never changed it. I’ve always wondered if the new owners (who bought in the early 2000’s) kept it or not. 😂
Oh wow! That makes me think of a house in my childhood where the appliances were purple!
@@Vintagerous I’ve never seen purple appliances! And my aunt and uncle’s place was the only purple bathroom set I’d ever seen(I should say lilac, as it was not a dark purple).
@@amyweaver7413 My mom says that the owner before my parents was a designer and so had the appliances spray painted at a body shop! LOL! The dishwasher died within the first year and so my parents had to take it to a body shop to get a match! LOL!
