I also have large open space in my cabinets, but I have a piece of wood that comes down the middle in the front (face). I’m guessing its purpose is to allow for 2 smaller doors that don’t actually meet in the center. This piece of wood fills the space between the cabinet doors. The problem is this piece of wood would prevent me from having these slide out drawers like you show us here. I’m so bummed because these drawers feel like such an excellent, efficient use of space!! I love what you’ve done here! 😃
You are such an inspiration. Watching you do all of this work by yourself is so amazing! I enjoy watching all you do (and would love to have those drawers in all of my cabinets), and seeing your finished projects. As satisfying as it is for me, I can only imagine how satisfying it is for you! Keep up the great work!
That is awesome! Will you share how you learned how to do so much? Are there books and/or videos that helped you get started with the basics? I bought a fixer-upper that I’d like to do as much of my work as possible as well. Thank you for being an inspiration!
My dad used to use wood glue anytime he built something, and I still have many of his pieces today. (I should mention that he was a professional carpenter, by trade.) I have a china hutch that he built possibly before I was born that has been moved many times, and it is still as solid and sturdy as a rock! There are no screw or nails to be seen in it...only the type of joints that this woman's drawers had, which you can see, and it adds such a neat visual detail to the piece. I wish I could attach pics to comments, I would show you how nice it is, and how well made. Short answer, yes, the glue is strong enough to hold up, lol.
Loving your new channel I highly suggest in the information of your channel where you click the down arrow you put this info instead there. Only because I like to watch the video while scrolling through the different types of product links that you have.

Is it wood glue enough to hold them and not falling apart?
