    One of the greatest talks on Ibn-e-Arabi I have seen covering almost every aspect of his concept of singularity of God. I appreciate the research conducted by the speaker to explain a difficult topic. This concept revolves around functional qulb (heart) activity that Sufis practice in their zikr exercises and unconditional or love based following of sharia (Law) that is not consequence oriented of hell and heaven. Through these lifelong followings they claim closeness of God.

    Where can I get trustworthy authentic translations of the works of Ibn Arabi free of Orientalism distortions or secularization through deceiving translation?

      WELL I WAS BORN IN ISLAM SUNNI...ALL MY LIFE ,THEN I MET CREATURES THAT ARE FAR CLEVER THAN ANY HUMAN ON THIS PLANET ,THE BAD THING IS NOT ONLY ONE SPECIE BUT A LOT OF SPECIES ,ALL OF THEM ADVANCED BEYOND BELIEF AND THEN I HAVE DOUBTS ABOUT THIS HUMAN WHO IS MORE NEAR ANIMALS THAN ANYTHING ,I GOT DOUBTS ABOUT GOD,HE MAY EXIST,AND MAY NOT,SO THERE ARE ALIENS IN THIS UNIVERSE MORE THAN THE STARS,AND SO MY RELIGION NEARLY DISSOLVED ITO A AN IDEA ,IT WAS A BELIEF BEFORE I MET THEM ,IT BECAME AN IDEA,SO WHAT SHALL I DO ,I BECAME SICK FROM THEIR DEVICES AND I LOST MY FUTURE ,I HAVE NO LIFE,I CAN NOT GET RID OF THEM

      @@selmir369 Trinity is false. God is the holy spirit and father but never assumed any human form, god sublimes all limitations. Jesus was not a god but simply a man who strived to destroy his ego in most extreme ways such hard dry fasting for 40 days in desert + prayers and meditations nonstop purified himself of desire for sex, human love, gratification, sense object until he remained pure where no ego is found and realized god and god used him as vehicle for his work. Jesus wasn't the only man like this, countless ascetics, Yogis, sufis became like Jesus and people thought they were deities or reincarnations of god in human form.

    The lecturer has to mention “diversity and inclusivity”. This lecture is 4 years old and now look at the world...

    • @thepeopleslibrary8673
      @thepeopleslibrary8673 2 роки тому

      Yes. Diversity and inclusivity are really important.
      Fascism and ignorance is what keeps one from understanding that fact.
      The World is a sh*t now because Fascism is getting more widespread, unfortunately that goes back to Capitalism being in distress.
      The Islamic World was much more progressive and enlightened than the West, but Fascism won, Islamic societies became inferior hellholes with nothing but stupidity. That has to do with Western Imperialism and how they use Islamofascism to keep the Islamic World down and distracted from real issues.
      America literally bombed and invaded Muslim countries because of oil and the population of these countries are distracted with bullshit about regulating anal sex instead. Crazy.
