    Oh gosh. Thank you so very much for sharing. I was about to throw out this Ikea outdoor table I had (that I absolutely love but has weathered over the years). I saw your video and decided to try to "bring it back to life". I will let you know how it goes! Thank you again for sharing!

      Super! C'est fou ce qu'on peut accomplir avec un peu d'huile de coude ;)

    I'm hoping this technique will work on my boat seats.

    Awesome video thanks a lot. Are you able to guesstimate how many pieces of furniture a can of Varda will cover? I have 1 table like yours, 2 small ones and 6 chairs

    hi, total beginner question here. Can I skip the sanding process and directly paint on top of the old clean surface? I will have to re-fresh the Applaro table and 4 chairs all by myself. any tips? Thanks!

      You don't have to sand, but it's highly recommended. It helps return the the top to a smooth surface and means the stain/sealer will have a more consistent finish. You actually can hand sand everything, so it's mostly a time investment over a financial one.

      @@rosemarieberman918 it is seasonal. I find you have to grab it right when the patio furniture comes out. I wish they carried it year round.

    Does it end up flaking off the same way the original finish did or would it be helpful to add some sort of weather proofing?

    • @DIYMontreal
      @DIYMontreal  5 років тому +2

      It will hold up for a few years of you just recoat it every year. Otherwise it will require refinishing after a few years.
