Haha, I was just thinking the same thing!! But why watch it live when you can look at a 3"screen later, and you only paid a couple hundred to "see" it live!
At least if they paid "a couple hundred" to see this crappy band they can now watch the concert more than once and get their money's worth. For that price you should get a professionally shot video download along with your ticket.
I don’t think any rock star living or dead has had as much fun in his career as Dave. When he brings these legendary guys on stage it’s like he’s reliving a musician’s childhood. It’s really awesome to watch.
@@mungofinalfi4480 1997 at a bar called Jaxx in Springfield, VA. It was their final stop on that tour before heading to Europe. They played a bunch of Maiden songs, too.
@@jaycharger72 Well, he's considered one of the greatest rock drummers of all time but I'll bet he still wakes up in the morning wishing he was JayCharger72
@@Andination33 Haha. I feel that. Yes absolutely. Still hoping for a couple Ozzy gigs, I know Sharon said at the beginning of the year they were looking into it. I'm based in London, but I'd happily travel however far for Ozzy haha.
Thanks Geezer for the many great songs with Sabbath that ive listened to for most of my life(59yrs old) and big thanks to Dave and the foo,s for getting great muso,s on stage with them! Jimmy Page and john paul jones was one of the best endings to a gig ever when the Foo,s played Wembley for the first time. Big cheers😁
That’s the most energized that I’ve seen Geezer Butler in the last couple of decades, but maybe it’s because he’s in his hometown in Birmingham,England & is just playing one song lol🤘
I was there 🤣, with my grandad , my dad and my cousin- it was my cousins first gig too - talk about baptism by fire 🤣🤣🤣 suck a great gig . Other than the bit where me and my grandad sat a security guard stood right in front of us when they played the pretender
This is awesome but Dave really needs to give up the ciggies. His voice gets quite bad later into their tours. Obviously all the screaming doesn't help either but that's all part of the show. I wish someone would convince him to give up the smokes
Cameras blocking the view, people sat on shoulders, people not being in the moment, some people denied being in the moment through enforced medical interventions, lost drummers etc💔💔💔
I only watched this because of Geezer Butler, an iconic member of an iconic band. I lost complete respect for deuchbag Dave when he bowed down to the mainstream nonsense vaxx mandates for his band mates and would be concert goers. Now Taylor is no longer with us and mr mandate deuchbag dave is partially responsible
Remember when only short people couldn't see the stage. Now no one can.
Haha, I was just thinking the same thing!! But why watch it live when you can look at a 3"screen later, and you only paid a couple hundred to "see" it live!
Im 6ft 4, it has drawbacks, but at gigs I am a king 😅

Same Thoughts!
In Germany mobiles are called "Handys".
Maybe Dave screams: "Let me see your f..kin Handys!" ???🤔but it's Birmingham, weird🫣
@@EpictheEpicest Guess I cannot disagree with that! LOL.
One of the greatest metal bass players that ever lived.
100%
Stood right in front of Geezer twice for Sabbath and was blown away watching his fingers move across that bass.
Mick Khan?
He is not dead yet...
Geezer is one of the reasons why I play P Bass
love how they put him on top of the mix, everyone in that crew is cool
the thunderous fingers of Geezer FUCKIN Buttler!!!

doing hos school of rock stint nowadays - this was dreadful
@@brendanroberts4866Exactly. It’s cringe. Foo Fighters are just a family friendly reality show on stage. Safe, parental approved rock.
I saw Geezer's solo band open for Bruce Dickinson and Adrian Smith in a bar that held about 1000 people. One of the best nights of my life.
When was this?

I bet! Jealous ain't the word.
@@OldManArmyJonnoI know right. I'm with you, there,,envious.
Geezer's still got it...Damn.
Grohl's voice makes you appreciate Ozzy!
I love Dave but I think we all know he’s more about the energy than the vocal talent haha
Absolutely!
Grohl is talentless
@@jaycharger72 Well, he's considered one of the greatest rock drummers of all time but I'll bet he still wakes up in the morning wishing he was JayCharger72
Same age as me and not a better singer.
I always like the respect Dave has to other rock bands and musicians, especially his constant wish to play with. Thank you, Geezer, for the music!
It gives him a break from the corporate bank manager rock that the Foo Fighters play.
Saw black sabbath 1973 jax colisuem With zz top johnny winter and jo jo gunne Good times
Dude - you were blessed.
Geezer plays in a unique style, it’s jazz metal. Legend.
Dave channeling Ozzy in this performance is EVERYTHING
Best thing I’ve seen all year Dave was class 🤣
I almost spilled my coffee lmao, nice to see Geezer still got it

@@007k01 Fucking mental. You cannot not love Dave.
Slightly embarrassing that he had to look at the teleprompter for the lyrics… 😮
Awesome to see butler again
Geezer's still a god when it comes to bass players in metal, he plays like almost no other

i just don't think enough people are recording this show on cell phones.
Dave became the prince of darkness for 3 minutes and it was awsome.
Princess, please!
The birthplace of league football AND heavy metal!! UTV
Dave's impression of Ozzy getting excited at the start of the song at :56 is hilarious and great!!👏
Geezer is looking pretty healthy. god bless black sabbath.
Mr Geezer Butler!!
I am not a Foo Fighters fan, but I love everything Dave Grohl does
…except Foo Fighters apparently 😂
@@MichaelJoshuaWilliams can you explain this one to me 😂😂😂

And it works!!! Seldom these kind a covers worth watching til´the end but this one certainly does.
I was there! Just uploaded a view of this from side stage :)
Passing the torch!!!
Geezer Butler has turned into father Christmas, you can't play Birmingham without one of sabbath joining in
Aw Shifty, play the solo just like Tony man. J/K Sounds great. Geezer is still a monster on bass.
I was there, what a moment
Ye olde Geezer still have it 🖤
Fantastic!! Love this. Geezer!! 🔥
Grohl doing his best Ozzy impression
...and it didn't work!....
@@frankhornby6873 no he sounded like Jack Black ON CRACK
Sabbath foreverrrrrrr 🙏🙏👍👍👍🙏🙏👏👏👏👏👏👍👍🙏🙏
Paranoid should always be played on the 12th fret…..
Correct.
Absolutely, just doesn’t sound right otherwise

Geezer fucking butler man ❤
GEEZER BUTLER 🤟🤟🤟🤟
Still gives the old fourstring a good workout! UTV!
Ironically this could probably be heard from Ozzys childhood home
What is ironic about that?
Proper Geezer! Love from 🇨🇦
Welcome home Geezer 🤟🎸
A true proper Geezer...
Jesus what an experience !!!
Awesome 🤘🏻
Sorry Dave....not a fuckin patch on Ozzy's Vocals!!!..
Nice tone on that bass geezer, rotosound wire wounds???
Geezer is underappreciated and underrated af
GEEZ! The 2nd architect of Sabbath!
Holy crap!!
Best part was when he butchered the lyrics that Geezer 100% wrote.
I always wonder how Nate feels when he's the only one left out
Honoured that his bass guitar is being played by a metal god!!
If he just counts his money in his head, he'll be fine😂
Wembley can keep their fireworks, this set was real pyrotechnical rock n roll.
🤘✝🤘
Dave is not hitting those notes lol.
What a Geezer!!
This is such a legendary moment and half the crowd is sleeping💤... Goddammit
looked like a good lullaby snoozefest yeah
channel your inner Ozzy!
Nah. Even stoned Ozzy sounded better
Because he’s MY Butler!
Seinfeld reference?? 😂
@@TouchdownTampaBay- I think so
Dave Osborne hehehe ta ate usando as roupas do Ozzy fora as imitações hahah muito bom!!!
This is true rock
Very great....it shows how powerful Ozzy's voice was back in his prime cause even Dave sounds a bit muggy compared to him
10 keys different Grohl doing his Paranoid in the style of Fuzzy Bear version haha
This is awesome but Dave really needs to give up the ciggies. His voice gets quite bad later into their tours. Obviously all the screaming doesn't help either but that's all part of the show. I wish someone would convince him to give up the smokes
Dave forgetting some of words plus the Ozzy antics makes this too similar to a Black Sabbath gig.
🤩
I dunno who this Tommy Chong guy is, but he plays bass really well!
why people go on Foo Fighters concerts
Who told grohl that he can sing.Wouldnt watch the foo fighters if they were playing in my back garden.
Geezer Butler is on the stage - but you zoom in on Grohl ? Talk about not understanding the enormity of the situation !
🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
Dave's voice is not meant to sing Sabbath
Rami is the man 🤘🏻
Didn't do much here though?
Geezer using what looks like Nate Mendel's P-Bass....dangggg
The Ozzy Leaps!
0:57 love it
Not bad for an old Geezer.
are foo fighters concerts just VH1 rock n roll history shows now
Black Sabbath that sounds familiar 😎
Where is ozzy in his little trampoline?
Get the fuck in! 🤘
It's a parody of Ozzie and Black Sabbath put together by a guy who will never compare to them...
Geezer looks like a proper old geezer now.
There are some great phones at that gig…..zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
The only good thing about this is Geezer Butler. How to murder a song, bloody awful vocals.
#Kickass
Ozzy was back.. let me see those f..kin hands
Ngl if I can, I'll go see the og sabbath when they reunite w/ bill
Geezer awesome as usual, but - even with two guitars and a keyboard - this was still as weak as shit compared to just having Tony Iommi on guitar !!!
When bands were original and real.
Blakey from "On The Buses" was a fan of Sabbath but he never liked the bass player.........
I thought he retired
Dave Grohl must be the absolute worst singer I have ever heard. Ruined another song with his shouting. Man.
According to his book, Geezer's just a working class bloke from Aston.
Dave Is top rocker.
Cameras blocking the view, people sat on shoulders, people not being in the moment, some people denied being in the moment through enforced medical interventions, lost drummers etc💔💔💔
