The flow he found without a single drum and the emotion he invokes in this is so captivating. This sounds like a sad song, but it’s actually a “fight” song. One in which NF defends his self worth amidst the mistakes he knows he has made, but the resolve to trust that he himself is not a mistake. Brilliant.
I honestly have to say this is my favourite from his new album. My top 3 would probably be Mistake, Happy, and Running

But on a real note… I hate to just follow the herd, but this one is definitely top 3 if not my favorite off of Hope. And it’s funny you say that, Eric, because I come to NF to get emotional connected… I don’t listen because I want the in your face raps. I listen to be moved and Nate does it A LOT!

This entire album has been a turning point, both in NF's career and his healing process, and its helped a lot of people. I've spent a lot of time listening to NFs music and with a lot of my life it mirrored NFs in a way, and I've used his music as a release for myself. With HOPE coming out, I've realized its time for me to heal too, and that I can't wallow in my pain forever.
Wow. That was the exact same realisation I had. Made me emotional seeing how far he's come. Now it's my turn.

This is definitely one of my favorite songs on Hope. It’s great for the sad feels but it’s also positive like “yeah I’m a little messed up but I am not a mistake.” And that’s a hard place to reach. So good.
This song is what healing from trauma is about. Its finally seeing that even you did things that weren’t good or reacted bad its a reaction to what happened. This song really hit me because i always thought i was the mistake thats why bad things happened to me but its not me its that there are bad people out here in this world
Mistake and Running are my two favorites of this album. This one is perfect and beautiful but the latter is going to hit you guys like a truck.
The world needs NF to be “mainstream” on the radio.

I had this song on repeat when the album dropped and my Spotify randomly played it again while I’m at rock bottom. I got sober 4 weeks ago and then my repercussions of my drinking brought everything tumbling down late. Lost my fiancé; my job; my best friend. I sit here alone listening to this again on repeat again

This album is an emotional roller coaster, MISTAKE is one of my favourites, it's one of my favourites albums by him. The personal growth from not being able to forgive his mum in How Could You Leave Us to finally forgiving her in HOPE and MAMA

I discovered NF during a 2 year abusive relationship. I have stayed with NF ever since. I want to say that Kyle, Eric, your reactions really touch my soul. Seeing your faces and eyes listening to him reminds me of listening to NF for the first time. He saved my life, and I am so happy to see he reaches others the way he reached me. Thank you for reacting to NF… He isn’t a big artist for everyone, but for some he is the person that saved them.

I’ve been trying to find my identity outside of my parents as I grow up. I was constantly was told I was a mistake and treated like that. He honestly worded everything I’ve been trying to understand! I have not had an opportunity to delve too deep into NF, like Eric said “when he listens to rap he wants the stuff”… I am the same way being more of a metal head. I did watch “Running” when you guys first did it and it was a bit of a gut punch for me. Made me think about some traumas I stuffed away and was running from and ultimately brought me to make some life changes (I had to stop running).. so I just wasn’t quite ready to dig in any deeper… so here I am 7 months later just starting my NF journey. Thankful I have you guys as my guide! Thanks for the amazing content as always guys!

I love this song because you can tell he took some inspiration from Julia Michaels in how she writes after working with her on Gone. She has such a unique way of writing and adding pauses in where other artists don't, also taking the notes high and low so quickly. I love that style and hearing it with a male voice sounds amazing as well. They are two of my favorite artists, so Gone and Mistake are big songs for me on the album.
The album HOPE is my least favorite from him, but I still think it's brilliant. Top 3 fave songs on the album for me is Hope, Running and Gone.

This was great, guys! This song is definitely a repeater for me too... I love that Nathan is singing more and he does have a beautiful voice for it. I wonder if this is the new direction he's taking... he said in an interview recently that he can't see himself rapping at 40 but he also doesn't know that he won't be (something like that) so it could be.
