Hello everyone! Had to squeeze in one more video before taking a break for a while. Not to go into many details but we have a beloved family member with only months to live and need to take a bit of a mental break. Thanks as always for watching and supporting my channel!
I need merch with the strange and unusual quote. Lovely haul, you do you girl, have as many books as you want, there are far worse habits to have. Sending lots of love and positive vibes to you and your family as you go through end of life experience.
Thanks! I love the character Lydia in the first Beetlejuice, thus the weird shirt. I saw the new one and I hated the way they did her character unfortunately. Please be kind REWIND-lol
Great haul! I hope you enjoy all your reads :D I think Dungeon Crawler Carl is a really well written read, and if you can, I would highly recommend immersion reading with the audiobook. Jeff Hayes is one of the best narrators I've ever heard.
Yes! I prefer to collect finished/ongoing series before I read them. Mostly because I’m impatient and don’t want to wait a year or more for the next one to come out. I am also collecting the Wyrd Woods books 🤣
I get a bit impatient too knowing the book is out and waiting for a book lover like me to buy it😂 There are worse addictions to have than book hoarding.
Hi Kim I don’t hardly buy any books unless it is a children’s book. I use my local Library - Evergreen Library System - Libby App which is on my Phone., My Evergreen Library App is on my Pone. Evergreen is a Library App that you can get books that your local Library does not use. It’s for small Libraries. I love it. I don’t have anymore room on my shelves so if I do buy a book it will go on the Floor in my Library Room. I would love to get some solid shelving for my Library. I am reading “The Inheritance Games” by Jennifer Lynn Barnes. It’s a Library Floppy Paperback Book. This book is so good. I have three other books on Hold at my local library - Evergreen Library. Take Care & Happy Reading ❤️🤗🔰❤️
I love my local library too and enjoy using the Hoopla and Libby app for audiobooks.❤️📚 Oh yes, that’s the trouble of collecting books, the space. I have trouble letting go of my books even if I’ve read them and thought they were just ok. I hope you are enjoying your current read and the ones to come also. I just wish the library deadlines didn’t stress me so much, haha. I did actually just check out a couple of nonfiction ones to try that looked good. Happy Autumn and enjoy!🍁📚🍂
@@thepapertraveler1122 - I can keep my Library Books for three weeks plus two renewals. I always manage to get my books read within the three week period. If I renew them it would only be one Renewal.
In my list are Belgariad and Great north road. I'm so intriguing about the latter one. And I have read the 3 sfmasterworks collection. I liked the doctor the most, and then the invisible man. The dying of light has an interesting plot, the premise is good (the idea of studying the planet), but i didnt like the ending and the interaction of the characters (I can't say more so I don't spoil). George has another novella, kind of horror with scifi, that I enjoyed, it's called Nightflyer. oh I'm sorry to hear that news, I will be praying for you and your family member.
Thank you for the prayers If I finish my fantasy series I’m wanting to complete, my plans are to at least read the first bind up book in the Belgariad series starting in 2025 and I’m really intrigued by Great North Road but also intimidated so I’m possibly going to start reading it for March of the Mammoth if they have it next year and just work on reading it bits at a time until finished. Thanks for the input on the SF Masterworks collection books and your personal preferences. I’m trying to get a couple of books finished in the next couple of days so I can start on Ubik. I’m SO very behind on my reading right now but that’s ok, it’s not a race.:)

Yes, I’ve heard someone else say how great the audiobook for Dungeon Crawler Carl was on audiobook for them too. I’ll check into that!

In 20 years? You should get on to those Eddings straight away!
Ok,ok-haha! Actually, if I finish up my Fantasy/Sci Fi series goals for this year, The Belgariad series is on the agenda for 2025.
@@thepapertraveler1122 I mean, you don’t have to read all of them. Just those first 5 books in The Belgariad. They’re pretty easy reading. Have fun!
