Ive had some serious drift on left stick but its solved.
So I pressed the left stick and moved it downwards, sprayed on upper side for 2-3 seconds. Ive repeated these steps for all 4 directions left right up down. Then I started keep pressing the left stick and rotating. Let it dry for a night, Drift was fixed.

So we all now that probably 95% of PS5 owners had analog shifting issue with at least 1 controller. I have 4 dualsense controllers and 3 of them have the same problem! Left analog is shifting to the left, and 4th one that i'm almost not using will probably have the same issue.
I know they are some YT tutorials how to opet them and maybe clean but i didn't want to give Sony any opportunity to cancel my warranty so i have called them and they have accepted 2 controller to fix cause they were still under warranty. They did their job pretty fast, but they sent me new ones instead of fixing, and that is ok. The problem here is that they do not cover shipping cost, so i had to pay amount almost half of a cost of 1 brand new controller, and i'm not fine with that. I should not pay even $1 for something that was clearly Sonys fault, i asked them to at least give me some PS plus credit for that, and they have refused...First of all this was not 1 in 1000 accidental issues, this is a global dualsense problem that Sony should FIX!! And not only controllers under warranty but all of them since this is a product defect, the same what car brands are doing recalling defect models.
This is not fair and i will think about which console i will buy next.

I have three controllers and two of them drift left on the left analog stick. Definitely not a user-created issue.

@@vibephonk..9807 damn. Yea that's what I thought was gonna happen. One of my dualsense just started to drift a little bit randomly while playing and I was playing the new DLC for destiny 2. I was aiming and when I shot my fucking stick made me miss my shot. It keeps happening now with that controller every once and a while. It's not all the time but I hope it doesn't get worse. I need to find a way to fix it.

I’ve had the ps5 controller since release and for some reason it just started acting up like 2 months so instead I would use my other controller and never use white one again But this video really helps because I perm fixed it
I had this annoying problem on my ps4, not super bad but, you know, annoying anyway.
Once I finally bought a ps5, after 8/9 months it started to do the same, even worse then my ps4 controller; I had a look on youtube and I found videos like this, so I tried and worked well but like just for the first day, then it started again and got worse and worse.
So the only thing to do at that point was to send the dual sense back on assistance since it was still on warranty, but meanwhile I bought another one because I didn't want to stay weeks without playing. The result? Now after a couple of weeks I can tell it's starting again in the new controller as well! I mean, I never hit it, throw it away, I keep it on the forniture in my living room which is honestly pretty clean, but even if it wasn't, I can't believe that only after a couple of weeks (maybe even less) the stick started to drift again.
Now I'll have to wait for my repaired controller back and probably I'll send the new one again to let it fix it.
All of this just to say that it's incredible how a colossus like Sony that makes you pay roughly £500 and like £60 for a controller having this serial defect; I mean, two out of two had the same problem, the second one incredibly after such a short time, and I didn't do nothing but just play normally.
Let me say I find this stuff pretty shameful.
I thought it was just me I literally keep my controller on my desk and never throw it and it still ends up drifting

Are you sure you guys are using the controller right? My dualsense is a year old, i play everyday for atleast 2 - 4 hours and never have i ever encountered any problem

I don’t get why the Duelsense sticks are much worse than the duelshock 4 controllers. It’s like they downgraded the sticks. I never got this problem on PS4
that's what am very confused about. I had my ps4 for a very long time and not once I had this problem where it required me to buy a new controller similar to what I had to do with PS3 or P22. No wonder these controllers kept getting sold out in Best buy. Had PS5 for a few months and all of the sudden this is an issue??

I tried this way and it actually works, I did it before every gaming session for a week and it seems to have cleared the drift... if micro dust is the culprit I always now keep my controller safe inside a box, so when it's not in use it is always covered.. it's surprising how much dust lands on your stuff in just one day..

nice temporary fix. sometimes you have to redo it, but it works for a while after. saved me time and hassle from taking my controller apart again and cleaning the inside of the analog sticks with rubbing alcohol
Well I did all this, but did not work.
What did work, was the vacuum cleaner. And then also try to circle the sticks with the mouth of the cleaner.
had this today, tried this, it made it worse. a lot worse. decided if its dust or something ill just flick it. flicked it upward 5 to 10 times, completely fixed. the same way you would do with the end of a sryinge, just flick it

these ps5 controllers must be of very poor quality 2 months in my purchase and my controller already went bad, I'll try to see if they fix it under warranty
Good Lord i hope nobody EVER "blows into an N64 cartridge to get out dirt and debris". It doesn't do anything besides corrode the cartridge pins and destroy them. Isopropyl alcohol will fix them up so they work every time without fail.

Small tip: punch the shi out of ur sticks, worked for me. Stick always aimed to the left so i punched it to the right and boom drift is gone

Got mine two years ago and only started using it last year, now i have stick drift. These sony controllers are made with paper fucking mache. This controller has had only one tumble off my desk and onto my lap. If thats enough to do significant damage and set me back £80 then i'll enter the ps5 controller as top candidate to be the most brittle object in the fucking universe. Fuck sony.
